Guy has a ton of potential good luck to him.

He may easily head to Bradley with all the openings and follow the staff. He has the talent to play in the MVC.

Very tough loss. No doubt about it, this season will be a rebuilding year. I really liked watching Francis and I think he's going to be really really good sort of like Rian Pierson was for Toledo after he left Green Bay.
Good luck to Daeshon in the future.

Good luck to Daeshon. Not unexpected, but still sad to see him go......But you almost have to wonder if a coaching announcement is imminent? If Daeshon wanted to announce a transfer after BW left for Bradley, and wanted to follow BW, you think he would have announced this sooner.
Hope the defections from the program are minimal.

Scott Venci @scottvenci · 5m5 minutes ago UWGB recruit Antoine Pittman (Auburn High School, Rockford, Ill.) said in a text that he will be leaving UWGB to play for another school.

This was all expected, unfortunately. I wouldn't be surprised to see Okafor de-commit as well, although he's an Indiana kid so maybe Darner can talk him into staying. Next year is going to be tough.

Torres also looking elsewhere. No word on Okafor, yet.
Name that could be on the radar is Darrell Riley, of North High School in Milwaukee. Only 5'-9", but a pure scorer who put up 38 PPG in the City League and was 2nd team all state. From everything I've seen, he has not yet committed anywhere.

Guards: Love, Small, Findlay, Botz Forwards: Lowe, Fouse, Kanter Centers: Uwadiae
Possible: Okafor
That leaves at least three, and perhaps five spots to fill, depending on Okafor's decision and Uwadiae's status. Wasn't even on bench at the end of the year, so I think that's up in the air.

We had one open scholarship. And three guys left. That leaves atleast four spots open possibly more
Love Lowe and fouse is a decent nucleus. A d2 coach prolly doesn't have much recruiting ties with incoming freshman at horizon league level. Could be wrong. Possible hook up with some jc shooters. Bank a scholarship or two won't hurt us.
Findlay played good at the end of his freshman year. Both has a chance in an offense that shoots threes a lot. It will be interesting. If the guy is gonna be a real good coach the cupboard isn't completley bare let's see wat he can do
Okafor could be an X factor Also kanter seems to be a guy who would step out and practice slot of threes during warm ups. Gives opportunity to guys to see wat their made of.

The Francis and Pittman losses hurt. The Torres loss is almost a relief.
I'd offer Garrison Goode and Brandon Gilbeck. Gilbeck is a late-blooming 6'11" center who recently committed to Western Illinois, but hadn't been able to sign yet.
Darner is a big juco recruiter, I'm guessing he loads up on jucos.

I really don't like seeing that Darner is a big JUCO recruiter, that is the lazy way. I really hope Okafor stays committed. Losing Pittman stinks. Torres I was never fully sold on.
I heard that Goode is a head case and his parents are hard to deal with. Not sure if that is true so don't take it as gospel. I see a really talented player struggling to find a D1 home so something is off.
Losing Daeshon is like losing Rian all over again. He is oozing with ability, he will be a good mid major player wherever he lands.
