If Francis REALLY wanted to play for BW, couldn't he go JUCO for a season, then join BW at Bradley provided that there is an open scholarship?

There is a special rule on a 4-2-4 transfers (that I don't completely understand). I assume that would apply in this case.

Joel Okafor just signed with Bradley. That moved pretty quick.
Wow! This pretty much sucks for y'all. I really thought Linc would be able to hold onto some of these guys.
Now UWGB is looking for some players and FSC is looking for a coach. Much empathy with you folks!

GB will need "HELLO My Name Is" stickers next season.....and extra large font on the backs of the jerseys since we will have a LOT of new faces.

Tomorrow night is the Phoenix Steak Fry. I will be curious to see if all of the guys are there as well as all of the new coaches. I would imagine the attendance of the players will be telling for next year.
I am not worried that they don't have verbals yet but by this time next week I will be bothered. By comparison it took Wardle until his third weekend on the job to get guys lined up and he scored big over the weekend. Darner spent last weekend getting his staff, trying to keep the old recruits and making new contacts. I would guess this weekend is about getting guys on campus and locking them down.
I was never fully sold on Torres, I will be curious to see how he ends up developing over the years but I just wasn't sure how he would have fit in.
For next year the current mix looks like this to me:
1. Love, Findlay 2. Small 3. Fouse, Botz 4. Kanter 5. Lowe, Hendo

Just something that I read online that frustrates me about college hoops. Other coaches smelling blood in the water actively recruiting GB's commits. Now I realize this is part of the game but it annoys me. Okafor was at Bradley on Friday night and indicated he made his decision on Saturday to go there. Pittman decommitted on Sunday and was at UIC last night. Obviously teams were in their ear way in advance. I know the stakes are high and pace moves fast but when other coaches are recruiting the players it really left the deck stacked against GB.

Yes, serious high flyer. I'll post some video of him later. Averaged 18 PPG on 55% shooting despite only hitting 30% of his 3s. Look for lots of jucos to visit in the next few weeks.

If we land this guy, I will jump into the Fox River out of sheer joy.

I'm always partial to guys who are 5'9" or under (since I'm 5'8" with shoes on) and play D1 basketball for the simple reason they you have to be that much tougher. Since Okafor is not coming to GB, we need to land Riley. He's also a shooter which is lacking on the current roster and would the heir apparent to C-Love at PG or even spearhead a 2 PG attack if Riley catches on to Linc's system quickly. Here's some more stats on Charles Cooper....6'4" and 220#. Good size for a SG or even a 3rd guard if Linc goes that route. www.kaskaskiaathletics.com/sports/mbkb/2014-15/bios/cooper_charles_pmox
