Off topic, but the guy sitting next to me last night asked me why if Wright St's mascot/logo are the "Raiders" why do they have a picture of a Wolf in all of the promotional material? there is a thread on this topic on the wsu board. if i remember correctly a raider swiftly attacks or takes over. a wolf attacks it prey in a similar manner and is a more gender neutral and marketable university brand then a cartoon viking they had in the past.

In a sidenote I will be curious to see who is reffing the games tonight. I have been looking at box scores this week from the HL Tournament and some of the guys who are universally disliked have been no where to be found. Then again I think I saw one of the Simpson's work a game and those guys usually stink. I hope the league paid up for some of the better guys like Kipp Kissinger, Jamie Luckie or John Higgins.

I had nightmares this week that Steve Skiles was reffing the GB/Milwaukee game. I'm on no sleep.

I wasn't expecting to win this tournament but I will be very disappointed if we don't at least make it to the championship game.

I cheered for Green Bay, Wisconsin, Virginia and Marquette this past weekend.
I am not sure who I should cheer for Tuesday, but they may be better off if I don't pick them.
On a side note, Milwaukee had quite a few fans at the Resch center Saturday but not very many students.

I am hopeful that whoever wins on Tuesday gets a decent matchup in the big dance. If I had to pick I would lean towards WSU. I feel like I am being honest when I write that it isn't my Milwaukee rivalry/hate picking that. I think WSU has been playing good ball down the stretch and I think they will get their place rocking. If Milwaukee wins they will have earned my respect this year. They would have to win 4 games in 8 days and play in two hostile environments.

I'm hoping WSU wins. If UWM wins, I hope they get rolled by 50 in the first round. Yes, it is spite, but I don't care.

Honest to god, i would be rooting for GB if they made the NCAA. Will cheer for WSU if they make it. Yeah it sucks if your team loses. But the horizon getting blown out in the first round only hurts our league, including GB..

That would be like a Duke fan pulling for UNC in the tourney. You're crazy. There is no scenario I would pull for UWM. If it was UWM vs. UWM, I'd quit watching college basketball, there's absolutely no way I'd support them. Like I said in my first post, I'm spiteful, and I don't care.

After much deliberation, I'm cheering for Milwaukee tonight. Milwaukee winning is best for Green Bay's RPI and resume. That, and Tavares Sledge has no place representing the HL in the big dance, and neither does the coach who didn't kick him off the team.

Good game, Milwaukee. You did it the hard way with two games on the road. Green Bay is going to have to live with woulda, coulda, shoulda. Don't lay an egg in the tournament.

Milwaukee had a quick start to this game and WSU had a lid on the basket early on, like GB did last Saturday. I think the closest WSU got was within 4 late, if I'm not mistaken.
Say what you want about 3-point shooting, but I think a team must knock down a few, if for no other reason than to keep the defense honest.

Green Bay was one of the HLs best, shooting 36% on 3s. Milwaukee struggled through the season in part because they shot just 32% on 3s.
