The leader of that private Discord I'm in just said "multiple sources are telling me Doug Gottlieb will be the next head coach at Green Bay."
For a refresher, this is the guy who had Noah Reynolds going to TCU nine days before he announced it. I have yet to see him miss on a recruit or a coaching hire this offseason since I started subscribing.
This is batshit insane. He's GOTTA be wrong on this one, right?!

He's never recruited or coached basketball. He would HAVE to get strong coaches in both roles to make it work. He coached aau and like u17 team USA. I don’t want to believe in it. I like in the Venci article the Brannen. Ok maybe not former head coaches but very good assistants but very good ones. |

Most "high level assistants" already have jobs and any "former head coach" available is likely sitting out due to being recently fired. |

I honestly think this is way less catastrophic than some of you doomers think it is. The sky isn’t falling. This is exposure for the team, which can lead to more money. Plus, who knows, he might actually know what he is doing. Low-major college basketball requires teams to zig when others zag in order to separate themselves from the bottom of the pile.

Coach wicks didn’t believe in getting 4 star players. Your saying he can’t get them? I put little stock into recruiting rankings. Obviously Pat Baldwin Jr was a failure for us, but so was Harrison Henderson and a bunch of other guys who had been four star recruits. |

He's a 47 year old Fox radio host, firmly in the hot take industry, who I doubt anyone under the age of 25 listens to extensively.
