As you know we don’t have any scholarships available which I am good with. Yes it would be great to add a transfer for next year but getting a whole team back without anyone leaving would be great as well.
We all thought we were in the clear this time last year as well then well you all know what happened.

With 2018 being wrapped up according to the article on GB's website it is fair to say that they have increased the athletic ability of the team. I made a few a comments last season about guys playing below the rim for the most part. I don't see that being the case going forward.
With GB playing a lot of 4 out and in some cases 5 out this team should score a lot. They have some decent size guys or super athletic guys that hopefully can defend and rebound against other HL bigs.
Here is my early guess at a 10 deep look:
Pipes Crist Hankerson McCloud Cohen Smith Schwartz Hemphill Patterson McNair
Or
Pipes McCloud Hankerson Smith Cohen Hemphill Schwartz Bell Patterson McNair
It is way too early I know but still will be interesting to watch where guys like Crist, Chevalier, Bell and Parham fit in when the roster is at full strength. Just like two years ago when the Brown twins sat a year perhaps that could work for some of GB's guys with all of these JUCO players coming in the fold to play right away.

I’m going to put my money on Bell this year to be a break out performer. A summer in a college weightlifting program will make Tre into a better player. Anxious to see year two from him!

I see McCloud as a starter.
Also looking forward to seeing Schwartz take the court.
I agree the new additions will add to the athleticism.

Guys, why everyone has to go with who starts or not. They guys coming in has to earn their keeps. Our previous guys aren’t going backwards, they moving forward and getting better. Linc will play 10 or 12 deep so get in where you fit in and let’s get to the tournament. I like the athletic abilities which should give us more shot blocks and more fast breaks and most of all, allow the RP40 to get going so let’s go.... I see the pressure going up to force more turnovers and more easy and quicker baskets.

Every coach gets the best players they can get. This time around it was the JUCO route. For a program like GB's the JUCO and transfer market holds a lot of promise. There's less of a chance of another school change with those players.

Quincy Anderson looked very good for Division 1 State Champion Oshkosh North in the state tournament. Another uncommitted 2018 player, Marlon Ruffin looked good. Patrick Cartier at 6'7" looked very good in the post, but is committed to Division 2 Hillsdale, coached by former Lawrence coach Thorp who I believe was a candidate for the Green Bay job at one point in time. Lots of good looking talent in Wisconsin, this year and future years. Milwaukee still has open scholarships for2018. I am surprised this is as a walk on. The most recent Press Gazette article mentioned the possibility of a walk on, I wonder if Ruffin was a possible walk on at Green Bay. In any case he has a better chance of earning a scholarship in Milwaukee.

Another player to join Trev on the end of the bench while he sits out his redshirt year. Good luck!

Based on the season Owen Hamilton had at NIU and wanting to play close to home he didn't likely have a ton of options. Walking on at UW isn't a bad plan in that case. He is big and he has some skills, with hard work I could see him contributing to UW later in his career.

At one point we brought up Virshin Cotton from Akron. He is going to LIU Brooklyn.
Still no word on where Juwan McCloud is going to land.
