Quincy Anderson looked very good for Division 1 State Champion Oshkosh North in the state tournament. Another uncommitted 2018 player, Marlon Ruffin looked good.
Patrick Cartier at 6'7" looked very good in the post, but is committed to Division 2 Hillsdale, coached by former Lawrence coach Thorp who I believe was a candidate for the Green Bay job at one point in time.
Lots of good looking talent in Wisconsin, this year and future years.

I can't say that I have watched one second of Cameron Burrell play so this is just a guess. He shot 90% from the field, those had to be mostly inside buckets. He is maybe 6'7" and skinny. It doesn't seem like coaches think he will be contributing at a decent D1 level anytime soon with that build/skill set and I can't say I blame them.

A couple of names that are interesting to me.
Marty Hill was a GB recruit but opted for Evansville. He only played 8 games and is transferring.
Treavon Martin is a 6'8" high school senior post who just backed out of a commitment to Tenn State. He is from Chicago.
Reggie Jones is a 6'6" freshman wing who played a lot at Western Michigan. He is from SE Indiana and is transferring.
Dwayne Rose is from Crete IL and didn't play much as a freshman at Toledo but he looks like a player. GB has done well from the SW Chicago suburbs.
Derek Koch is a big man who can shoot from 3 that is leaving BGSU as a freshman. He is from Ohio, I think by Cleveland.
Amel Kulijuhovic is a 6'10" JUCO from Iowa. He opened up his recruitment after Reggie Theus was fired from CSUN. I am pretty sure GB has a coach who worked JUCO in Iowa. I am pretty sure GB needs an experienced big man. I am pretty sure with offers from Iona, Fullerton, E. Illinois, La-Monroe and Montana State that this guy is attainable.

One thought on recruiting for 2018 is perhaps GB is done for now. Perhaps they know who they are going to get and it just hasn't come out yet. A lot of the class of 2017 players they didn't get didn't play much at the schools they picked over GB. Maybe a transfer or two is coming.
I suggest this because there really hasn't been much on the internet about their recruiting and with 2 spots to fill I am surprised it is so quiet.
Where is Barlow Alleruzo going? He looked like he could be a good fit as he filled out.

I had seen this somewhere else too a while back. They had mentioned UW-Milwaukee or Green Bay. A 5th year player with some experience is exactly what this team needs.

Brady Ellingson would be interesting. I always thought Iowa/Big Ten was a reach for him but I do think he has some game and would do well at a mid major level.
GB doesn't have a lot of master's programs but perhaps a master's in management would fit with his enterprise leadership undergrad.
However, since every play from WI seems to end up at South Dakota State that is my guess on where he goes.

It doesn't seem like GB is getting any high school kids in this class. It seems like their JUCO prospects are all fielding other offers as well.
Right now my ideal class would be getting WI transfers back to the state. I would take Owen Hamilton, Brady Ellignson and Juwan McCloud. I am assuming somebody will leave to make a third spot open up.
Take Hamilton because he is big and has decent hands. Have him work on his body and hope he develops. Take McCloud because he can pressure the ball, get in the lane and distribute. Take Ellingson because he has good size and can shoot which is important for this system.
Starters: Pipes Hankerson Cohen Schwartz Patterson
Reserves: Crist McCloud Ellingson Bell/Chevalier/Parham/Bains (play 2 of whoever is on the roster)
Deep Bench: Parker Powell
Redshirt: McCloud Hamilton

Umm yes please!!! This dude is perfect for GB. He is still a bit raw but he would be so fun to watch. Plus if transfers can become immediately eligible he would be a starter this season.

Wow landing Kostas would boost ticket sales a bit! The r elease from the Dayton athletics website says he's going to pursue a pro career though:

I just read that Kostas was going pro. That's cool for him I suppose. I hope he goes somewhere that really develops him and not just a place to get a small check.
