Milwaukee in a dog fight in the 1st half against Robert Morris, despite GB giving them the blueprint to beat RMUs zone, and the sensational return of Patrick Baldwin Jr. PBJ has been awesomewith 19 points on just 8 shots, his game fits best against a zone.

Milwaukee squeaks out an 8 point win. RMU was shorthanded after Farris was poked in the eye late in the 1st half and didn't return.
PBJ is very composed, in sharp contrast to the rest of his incredibly sloppy Milwaukee team.

Jacob Ognacevic is averaging 15 points and 5 rebounds for lipscomb would of been a good player to have instead of tutu.

Marcus Domask is another Wisconsin guy uwgb missed out on for southern Illinois and Keshawn Justice of Santa Clara who have done well for there teams.

There are plenty of good players from the state of Wisconsin at other schools.
That gives me a lot of hope for the strategy of trying to recruit and develop players from all corners of the dairy state.
I think a few WI kids who went to other schools or plan to go to other schools might be on the move in the spring. It will be interesting to watch it play out.

Not giant news by any means, but former Badger point guard Lorne Bowman is heading to Oakland. He’s got a lot of talent and gives Oakland something to build around, especially since he’ll only be a sophomore.

Not likely to leave again… Exactly the type of player GB needs, a freshman who is in the portal who will have already used their free transfer.

Really cool seeing a Horizon League team finally win a tournament game. Personally I’m happy for Kampe, he’s certainly annoyed me at times, but he always seemed like a genuine coach/person. If I had to pick a Horizon League team other than GB to get a win like this, it’d probably be Oakland. Good for them, hope next time it’s GB getting this win.

Awesome for Oakland, the only other team in the conference I can stomach. Could be our boys next year, this team isn’t that far off of the grizzlies.

Wasn’t it 30 years ago when another HL Tream beat Power 5 school with 2 future NBA lottery picks…..;-) Great win by Oakland beating another team with future NBA draft picks.

Side note on Kampe, another reason I’ll always respect him is for losing in the semis of the 2016 Horizon League tournament. To this day, I think GB would’ve lost to Oakland if they faced them in the finals that season.

A financial question for you guys: Does Oakland advancing mean more money gets allocated to the Horizon conference from the tournament "pool"? I'm thinking the further a team advances, the more money gets allocated to its conference, and not just that individual school???

The 32 points Jack Gohlke had versus Kentucky is is 32 points more than he had in 2 games versus Green Bay this year. Insane.
