Detroit pulled off the biggest upset of the season by beating Oakland on the road by 5. UDM was a 20 point underdog going in and were lead by Jaleel Hogan put up 38 points. The rest of this season is going to be wild!

With that result by Detroit last night a win at Valpo could give us a legitimate shot at winning the conference this season. Guys gotta be up for it!

At least Oakland dropped another game at home tonight. Lost to Cleveland State. I can't fathom how you can slaughter teams all year, yet drop back to back against basement dwellers. Maybe the league is way deeper this year than we thought.

Detroit picked up another win against the Penguins tonight. For as bad as their record indicates, they're a veteran squad that could cause trouble come March.

With every team now having a loss or two, it looks like anyone can win. Detroit and UIC are capable of upsetting anyone and who knows with the other teams.

Valpo is the clear favorite. They seem to be the most consistent team and have the best player in the league. With Oakland tripping up at home to a couple of mediocre teams, its wide open after that. If GB keeps taking care of business against of the league we will be okay.

I think Oakland was riding so high that their loss against Detroit sent them into a tail spin. I'd much rather draw Valpo in the conference tournament, since there's no chance we'd ever be as cold shooting again

Oakland is much different than in the past. They struggle to shoot the 3 and do not have consistently great PG play. They seem prone to have nights like last night where they struggle offensively and cannot turn teams over. Valpo had Smits as well as the freshman from Spain who along with Peters can battle with Brock, Dorsey Walker and Hayes inside. The rest of the league is going to have a tough time beating Valpo including Oakland back at the O'Rena. I would be shocked if Valpo ends up worse than 15-3 in the league where I could see Oakland end up with 5-6 losses.

Very true, however, think with Valpos lack of depth, if one guy goes down, they'll be in deep trouble.

Makes the loss hurt a little bit more to YSU

Milwaukee had a nice OT win over Youngstown yesterday. Paid attendance for that game was 641
