Green Bay's 3rd opponent in the Nevada Tournament will be Cal St. Fullerton. They finished tied for 2nd in the Big West Conference and went 21-10 overall, albeit against one of the nations weaker schedules. They were 135th in RPI, and lost to Loyola Marymount in the 1st round of the CIT. They return their top 2 scorers from a high scoring, fast paced, under-sized team. They add a few JuCo's and transfers to next years team, as they do on a yearly basis. Should be a highly competitive game. Wardle has certainly taken the schedule to a different level from the Kowalczyk era. Do you know the dates for this tournament? I have looked around in the past but didnt' see anything. Fullerton should be an interesting game. I would like to think Brown, Cougill and Mays will give them fits. Coach K and Coach Wardle do things different, I will take Coach Wardle's approach.

Do you know the dates for this tournament? November 17-19. Why, are you planning on making a trip to Reno, the biggest little city in the world? It should be some good basketball, with 3 teams that will make it to some type of post-season tourney.

Plus it isn't like Reno/tahoe are boring places to visit. I went to the tournaments in Daytona Beach, Kent St and Miami of Ohio. You can usually get a really good perspective on what goes on during a college game when there is a small crowd gathered.

As for Reno, it is a good vacation destination, but Green Bay is the real world's largest small city.

Take the tarps off, MU fans usually travel well to games close by. GB usually does decent on weekend home games so it is a nice boost to put butts in the seats on a week night. I sent an email to a few people today to start to plant seeds of an Oneida/GB double header.

The conference schedule came out yesterday. Here's what Rob Demovsky and Andrew Gavin wrote about it. I like how the conference set it up. 2 game roadtrips stayed intact. UW-M was added to the Valpo trip. Most of all, I absolutely love that the league has the 2 conference favorites, Valpo and Green Bay, duking it on the final game of the year. That game in Green Bay could be for the conference title. That would be 1 heck of a party.
