28-19 at the half.....GB can't shoot 22% for the WHOLE game? Can't they?.....Just because we have an NIT bid in our back pocket doesn't mean we HAVE to take it instead of winning the HL tourney and going to NCAA's.

GB pulls to within 5 !!!!!!!
Come on Green Bay don't make me spend the next few weeks wondering about what could have been with a home game against a Milwaukee team we beat by 24 and 28 pts this year.

I just feel sick tonight I wanted at least CSU or Green Bay to make the NCAA's now neither will.
Milwaukee lost to UIC by like 20 at half.......lost to CSU by 24 and 28....hard to believe they beat you.
Sykes getting hurt really sucked
Here is hoping against hope that you get an at large bid but I doubt it even though I think you deserve it.

GB craps the bed against UWM again.....How does Jordan Aaron average 28 PPG against us?? Remember, this isn't the Bruce Peal-led UWM team from 2005. This was an average UWM team at best defensively....Jordan Aaron is good, but Keifer Sykes, Kendrick Perry, or Lovonte Dority he is not......This is the same UWM that LOST to UIC,...last place U-I-C, by 22 at The Cell. They also lost 4 of their last 5 going into the HL tourney.....
I'm pulling for WSU at this point, but whoever wins will be lucky to get a #15 seed and will get the crap kicked out of them in the NCAA's and make the Horizon League look bad.....GB's NCAA bubble burst tonight. Having 3 DII games hurts the RPI and SOS, and 3 losses to teams outside of the top 150 RPI also hurts.
If it weren't for the efforts made by Greg and Carrington, this would have been another double-digit loss by GB to UWM again. Keif tried to play through his injury, but was not at full strength. Where was Alec tonight?? Was he at the game??
We've been building up the last 3-4 years for this?? An NIT bid?......We will probably get shafted by the NIT selection committee and have to play on the road against a 9th place Big Ten team on the road in a half-empty arena anyway since most of those students will be gone on Spring Break anyway.
This loss hurts......I hope this group can get it together and make a run in the NIT. The only saving grace is if they can get to NYC for the NIT final 4. Watching the NIT selection show at The Bar, Anduzzis, or Stadium View does not have the same feel.....

Great game tonight guys and regardless of the result you still have had a great season.
I will be pulling for you guys to get an at-large bid on Selection Sunday, you deserve one.
Also, for the record Gbbrl97 DII opponents have no effect on your RPI or SOS. The NCAA doesn't recognize them as games for tournament resumes.

Great game by Greg Mays and that's about it. Excluding Greg Mays' 7 of 10 FG shooting, we shot 14 of 50 from the field and 3 of 14 from 3PT. Even a stellar 21 of 24 from the stripe cannot make up for that many missed shots. Aaron Jordan played all 45 minutes, that guy looked unstoppable. And UWM's big men beat us throughout the game.
I had a bad feeling when we could not hang on to win in regulation. I agree that we will be slotted to an away game in the NIT into a larger school market.

Your fans were absolutely fantastic tonight. I sure hope this is a turning point and gets the Brown County area jazzed about the program.
Sykes getting hobbled was huge and probably turned the game. Sometimes the basketball gods have different plans.
I hope the Nix get in the tournament. Alec Brown certainly deserves that stage.

The basket seemed like it had a lid on it to start the game, other than Mays the shooting was poor the whole game. I thought that Mays and Love picking up 2 fouls early hurt a lot. Aaron was clutch for Milwaukee down the stretch. I checked the box score to see how many minutes Brown played and was surprised, it seemed to me he was on the bench a lot during the game. I even wondered if he was sick. Credit to Sykes for playing through an injury, it was obvious he was not himself.

Smells a lot like 1992 in some ways.....injury to a key player (John Martinez), although Keif should be ok for the next game, lose to a middle of the road conference team in the semis (Eastern Illinois), and then get shafted by the NCAA tourney committee, but unlike 1992, not getting in this time around won't be a shocker......It would be a shocker if we got in (remember George Mason in 2006??....They were the 3rd team from the Colonial to get in over 3rd place Hofstra, which shocked everyone, even George Mason; The rest was history).
