Both Schwartz and Heldt are atracting attention from major schools. It would be great if Green Bay could land one or both of them, but looking more difficult as time goes by. I didn't get a chance to see either play at the WBY. I am curious about Heldt, he doesn't seem like he would fit at a MU and is he good enough yet for UW? I did see Henry Ellenson play, I think he is going to be a very good college player and make a lot of money playing basketball somewhere on this planet.

Also, I am not sure what level this guy is currently considered to be at but Malik Brown was a junior guard for Vincent that looked pretty good against Germantown.

I have seen Heldt play once this year and also in his freshman and sophmore years, he continues to develop. Neenah is a very good team this year. There is one fan from the Marquette message board that claims he is further along than either Ellenson or Stone: mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=415&f=2850&t=125136381:00 AM post. There were lots of scouts at this particular tournament. If we are going to land either Schwartz or Heldt, we will have to beat out some good schools.

I didn't see Heldt play but I would be pleasantly surprised if he was further along than Ellenson. Ellenson looked very fluid for a guy his size, he was at a completely different level than I was expecting. If Heldt is further along than him then Heldt should be one of the top recruits in the country and out of GB's range entirely.

Take that opinion of that one Warrior fan with a grain of salt.
It is unfair to measure Heldt vs. Stone or Ellenson. It would be like comparing Nate Thurmond to Wilt Chamberlain to Jabbar. All 3 have different skills and are unique to each other. His game has developed really well over the last 9-12 months, and his progression has been fun to watch, as it has been steady and quantifiable. At the end of his recruitment, IMO he will play up a level from UWGB, but who knows.

Mark Miller reports that Heldt received an offer from Drake today. Drake is no better that Green Bay this year, but who knows what a player uses in his thought process.

Mark Miller predicting offers from Wisconsin and Marquette for Pritzl and Heldt. Two guys I would love to see at Green Bay along with Shwartz. The 2015 class looks very strong.
"Couple of scholarship offer predictions for the next few days -- Brevin Pritzl (Wisconsin), Matt Heldt (Marquette)."

Hopefully if they like to run they can see how GB would develop their talents for the next level.

Per Mark Miller Green Bay offered Billy Wampler from Eau Claire Regis yesterday. We may be a little late to the party on this offer, he has been getting many offers of late after some exceptional AAU games.

I like the look of all 3 guys that were offered. Wampler and Stewart showed they can shoot and drive. Plus they finish above the rim. Wampler is a hot name right now getting lots of offers.
Marquette did offer Heldt yesterday. The last time I watched him play I didn't see him as a big east level talent just yet.

Not good news for Phoenix fans but good news for Matt Heldt as he committed to Marquette today. verbalcommits.com/players/matt-heldtAs for MU I think they have two more scholarships to give but I am not sure where they stand with Ellenson or Stone at this point.
