A ball handling/outside shooting guard better be the only way gives the last scholarship up. Looks like he has an offer from a top D2 school in Lewis.

I watched a ten minute highlight tape and what I can say is that he kind of reminds me of Trevor Anderson. I think he is a better fit though because Don Bosco Prep plays fast so he is used to that, plus he has a little flair to his game. He isn't super athletic which is probably why his other offers are D2. At this point in the recruiting cycle he would be a solid shooter, a decent ball handler, a guy looking to pass to open teammates, a gamer who plays hard and has good size. If you want a guard who is a one man press break or a lock down defender he isn't your guy. Because of the needs of the GB roster and how Don Bosco plays I like this guy. He would at least fill the backup PG role from day one.

Don Bosco plays against a lot of community college teams and Crist's assist to turnover ratio looks pretty good. Essentially he played against JUCO talent without burning a year of eligibility. At least one Indiana web site is reporting that he has committed to GB. Don Bosco plays an uptempo style similar to the Nix and I like the spacing/ball movement I've seen on several team videos. Crist has an extremely high GPA so that will not be an issue. He's not super athletic but in the ballpark. He shot 40-percent from three point range. (his shoot does look non-traditional and that makes me wonder) For the past season he got to the free throw line a lot and hit almost 90-percent. Not a bad late recruit at a position of need and not a traditional four year recruit with that prep school year of development under his belt.
