With no scholarships currently available I'd sure like to see the Nix add at least one preferred walk-on. Jake Zeitler, ofLuxemburg-Casco would be an ideal candidate. I think he de-committed from a D2 program in Minnesota. He was co-player of the year in the North Eastern Conference and a small school all-state pick by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. Zeitler seems like a bright young man who has a high ceiling. He Averaged 22 points, shot 40% plus from the field and 80% at the free throw line.

Zeiter would have been a solid investment in the future. I still think the odds are pretty good of a quality walk-on for the coming season. There's an opportunity to develop and have a leg up when the seniors leave.
