Nana would be a nice addition for any program. He's on an official visit to Nebraska this weekend and that may be the end of story. It all depends on what a recruit wants. The biggest need at this point for the Nix is one or two mobile big/inside/out recruits. The PT is there.

Nana had a visit to Nebraska but didn't commit. He indicated that he wants to set up other visits but isn't sure where just yet.
Utep was at his workout this week and GB amongst several others is watching him tonight.
He is moving slow so staying loyal and persistent might really payoff.

That's what the Dante Thorpe offer was about.

That is great for him and too bad for GB. I am sure it is hard not to get swept up by the big time buildings and tools they have at Nebraska. I thought for sure he would make a few more visits first.

It's hard to say no to a Power 7 offer.
Upward and onward for Nana.
GB will be fine.

I am very curious to see what the future holds for Nana Akenten. He has had several DNP this season along with last year as well.

He seems happy there, he is always being a leader even when he isn't playing. A looming coaching change might make a difference.
Iowa State has a guy from Milwaukee who looks totally checked out and doesn't play. He would be a very good player in GB.

This could get real interesting. Not saying he is on the same level as Sandy Cohen but he could come to Green Bay and get the same chance to lead a team just like Sandy did....

Umm yes please, this is the guy I want in GB. I still think he would kick butt in this system in this league.
