Well look at that. UWGB is showing interest in Akenten's teammate as well. It could mean something or nothing at all.

If a recruit isn't a do-everything PG or a Stretch-5, W will under-utilize him offensively. ;-)

Akenten may be a tough one to land at this rate

There are a lot of offers to Nana but from what I can read on twitter some of those teams don't seem to follow him that closely. UTEP and Duquesne are examples of offers but they don't seem to be at many of his games. Nebraska, Illinois State, GB, Bradley and Valpo seem to be most active right now. I read a quote that he is looking for best fit and not just the biggest name, so GB has a solid chance against Nebraska if that is true. Plus Nebraska seems to send an assistant coach (Molinari) where GB seems to send Linc. I think that goes a long way for kids to know who wants them the most.

SMU and Colorado State have recently made offers and I believe both schools have players on their rosters from Bolingbrook. In terms of prestige I would put that SMU offer at the top of his list. Yet with the issues that SMU has had off the court recently you can't tell me Jankovich was oblivious just because Larry Brown is taking the fall (by not being offered a new contract).

Roy Schmidt had an article yesterday calling NaNa his ready to explode prospect, or something like that. He mentioned the higher profile teams as his expected landing spot. I hope he is wrong.

The way that article was written seemed to lean towards Nebraska, SMU and Illinois State being in the final five for sure with GB among 7 others trying to get in the final two spots. I am optimistic that GB makes that final five and then leans on the duration of time they have recruited Nana to help close the deal.
Also of note was Demarius Jacobs was linked to GB in that article. He has a lot of bounce in his game. Maybe not polished just yet but a pretty high ceiling.

Nana has an offer from UNLV. Rob Jeter is there now and seems to be the only guy on their staff with Midwest roots. They do have a couple of Chicago area players on the roster.
