FSC's new coach was announced today - Michael Donnelly from Southern Connecticut State University:

Overall I think this is a good hire. He is a winner and fulfills other intangible requirements of an FSC coach.
I do think Coach Donnelly is going to have to figure out how to recruit players from someplace other than Connecticut. Midwest and FL have worked out well for FSC in the past. That's something a good assistant can help him with and he only had one at SCSU.
Things are back on track here.
Time for FSC to get to work!

New Moc's:
Joey Morlan, Blackhawk Christian School, Fort Wayne, IN: www.verbalcommits.com/players/joey-morlan
Sheldon Zablotny-Crosby, Cathedral Preparatory School, Erie, PA -> Niagara CCC: www.verbalcommits.com/players/sheldon-zablotny-Crosby
R.J. June, Oviedo H.S., Sandford, FL -> Northwest Kansas Technical College: www.verbalcommits.com/players/r-j-june
Zablotny was a Swank recruit. Don't know about the other two.
I have video on all three of these guys and they each have serious potential. June has bad-ass potential. In 2014 Oviedo H.S. was the Class 7A State Champion and June was the 7A Player of the Year.
7A is the second largest school class in FL and has VERY competitive teams at the Region/State level. Blanche Ely, this years 7A State Champion (and a team I follow) finished the season undefeated and played in the Dick's tournament in NYC (seeded #3). They didn't play all that well in their loss to Findlay Prep (NV). (The final was Montverde Academy vs. Oak Hill Academy. D'Angelo Russell was there to cheer on Montverde.)
June had only one year in JUCO - three left. (Zablotny-2 left, Morlan-4 left)

FSCmocFan Congrats on getting a new coach and I am sure he will do an excellent job. You have provided us insight that we would never have been able to obtain on our new coach and his philosophy that we appreciate.
Thanks again and I look forward to watching your team and the Phoenix have amazing years.

To summon up my best Wisconsin-speak:
You betcha!
(I also had a brat (Johnsonville) for dinner last night. )

(I also had a brat (Johnsonville) for dinner last night. ) My question is how did you grill/cook it. Did you have it on a hard roll or just a basic roll? Just checking to see if you are making the transition to a Wisconsinite correctly.

My sausages are usually boiled and then finished on the grill. In exigent circumstances they can be browned in a pan to finish them.
I prefer brats or Italians. She prefers kielbasa or brats. I supposed that makes sense - too many years in NYC for me and she's a Polka from Milwaukee.
The kielbasa is usually not browned. Everything else is. I also like Weisswurst but it's also almost impossible to get here and I'll get punched if I eat it since it's a veal product.
We'd go with Klement's or Usinger's if we were local - down here Johnsonville is the best we can do. You can have Klement's or Usinger's shipped but it is very expensive. The Klement's factory store in MKE on S. Chase is the best deal. In pre-TSA days her brother used to bring us pounds of Klement's sausage packed in a cooler when he flew down. The sausage went in the freezer and the empty cooler to the beach.
Things you cannot find in FL: - Brat Buns - Kruschikis - Racine Kringles (You can have these shipped, but again fabulously expensive.) In lieu of a real brat bun I've been using Martin's Potato Hot Dog Buns. It's the best I can do and they work pretty well.
Surprised yet?
Where we goin' for fish fry/boil this week?
And which church festival am I going to be playing bingo at? My dogs are Dachshunds.
and...
I have Packer gear. (Been a fan since 1965. Bart Starr was the best!)
And if that's not enough...
I've been to the Salmon-A-Rama in Racine, and...
I've been to a tractor pull at the Langlade County Fairgrounds!
I know what a "bubbler" is.
