National attention is a big part of what college athletics is for a university. Is anything else at UWGB going to get the New York Times to commit a full-length feature? No. But now that they did, people across the country will look into the good things going on at UWGB. This is what marketing is all about. And the Phoenix women's basketball program is a heaping pile of wonderful PR.
