Phoenix jump out to an early lead and win easily. Good ball movement and 10 steals. GB was effective getting out on the fast break, helping Daeshon Francis to 14 points on 7-7 shooting. Fouse was in the middle of the action in every facet of the game. Strong bounce back after a disappointing effort 2 days ago.

Good road win by GB. Came out with a lot of energy for a change. Balanced scoring as our guys forced turnovers and took advantage of the size advantage down low. Francis best game by far all year.

Congrats to Jordan with a double double and Francis with 7-7 shooting. 5 players in double figures really helps winning on the road. 75% FT percentage is great. Skyes and Mays 9-9 on FT's helped. I missed the game but are they falling in Love with the jump shots again? 17 3's is way to many when we only make 4? I know WSU was missing key players but GB did exactly what they needed to do. They grabbed an early lead, never folded when WSU tried to make a run and by the time the starters were done they had a 20 point lead.
Jordan Fouse had a great all around game. It felt like he had 20 rebounds. Daeshon Francis hit a jumper, scored in transition, drove to the hoop in the half court, had a put back and had a nice pass for a score. By far his best all around game.
The one thing I didn't like seeing was Karena destroy GB inside. This is the second game in a row where a tall and wide body inside with some skills destroyed GB. At some point they will need to address how they defend these types of players. Fronting them hasn't worked. Playing single coverage hasn't worked. I will be curious to see what Tiby does against GB inside because he has good size and skills as well.
Speaking of Karena I thought he should have fouled out really early in the game. He set a lot of moving screens on the baseline. The offense WSU was running had lots of screens which is hard to stop especially when a guy as big as Karena is constantly moving on his screens.

Good all around game by the Phoenix, great teams have great bench play, great to see Francis play that way. I always enjoy the GB UWM matchup. Hopefully, we put them away early.
