Per Joe Henricksen, 6'9" Julian Torres of Bolingbrook HS had given his commitment to Green Bay.

I am excited about the potential of this recruting class. They have a 3 star PG and PF that has vast potential and a SF that has ability off the charts. Only time will tell but it could be one of the better classes Green Bay has had.

I like the potential of this class as well. But if we are going to compare recruiting classes, the Nordgaard/Jackson/Berlowski/Grezsk class is the gold standard with the upset over Cal in 1994, the unlikely run in the conference tourney and near upset of Purdue (as a #14 seed) in 1995, and the 25-3 team and a #8 seed in 1996. If GB can get to the NCAA's the next 3-4 years and can win a game or two, then we can make that same claim.

I am happy he committed early and I excited to see him come to GB. Cougs had a similar build and inside/outside game. Cougs did a lot of damage in the HL and that was even with the situation with his mom and Wardle as a back drop. I hope Torres's defense can keep up with his offensive game because he could be a really nice player for GB in that case.
