Scott Venci: Green Bay will play Miami December 6thScott Venci giving us some news on next years schedule. Always cool to play "The U". Despite being a road game versus a high-major opponent, it's a winnable game. Hope they can also convince Wojo to schedule Green Bay on a 2 for 1 deal. I'd also like to continue the Wisconsin series, but not under the ridiculous terms Bo insisted on for the last agreement. 3 for 1 is worthwhile for Green Bay, but 4 for 1 is junk. Also there was some question as to whether Green Bay has to return a game against Fairfield, but they do not.

That is a great game for GB to play at Miami. That is as winnable of an ACC road game as they could possibly get. Mix in the weather factor and it is a homerun. I like the idea of them playing a second 4 team tournament. I know St. Mary's has one and that would be good for the schedule and travel variety if they could get in that. Plus I am happy they don't have to return Fairfield. Fairfield's coach had a connection to Wisconsin which probably helped get that game. Still that is a decent "buy game" in that they were D1 and were not in transition and doesn't require them to go out and play a sub 200 rpi team next year. I read on a website that Middle Tenn St is looking for H/H games. That is another decent RPI level team that I would like to see GB go against.

If I were a GB fan I'd start saving for that Miami trip pronto.
The game itself? Excellent. Wardle showing he's not afraid to take on a good team on the road in a year they are favorites. Too often favorites in our conference have stacked the schedule easily. This is a good schedule and I'm excited to see what he can put together the rest of the way.

Thanksgiving weekend they will have three games in the gulf coast show case. In fort Meyers Florida.
There four non conference with 16 conference games... Means eight more games we don't know about yet.
Lets get North Dakota state series ! Great to build a nice little rivalry with another mid major program. Even eastern Michigan is a nice program I'd like to see again.
I wouldn't be shocked to see Chicago state again light on both teams travel budget. Something they need playing in the WAC.
We have consistently had one or two Dakota's on our schedule.

No need to travel to the Dakotas if you don't have to go there. I'd rather see Drake, or some Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan schools.

Just based on what I can see from various websites GB is looking for 3 home and home series to fill out the calendar. They want to start 2 in GB and one on the road. They are looking to open the season in GB. Originally they had dates of 11/14,15,19 or 29 as well as 12/2,9,13 or 27. They are no longer looking to fill 11/19 or 12/13. No word on if they actually filled those dates and with whom.
They were also looking for a 2 for 1 with a high major and a guarantee game. I would assume the game at Miami is filling one of those criteria.
Also, in the Gulf Coast Showcase it looks like High Point and UNC Wilmington are now out of the field and Marist is in as well as one more team to be announced.

I am not sure why this hasn't been reported anywhere else but it looks like the ideal destinations keep on coming...can you say Vegas?!?! www.bradleybraves.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=3400&ATCLID=209520057It is a solid mid major field. Irvine has a few huge guys and were very good in their league last year. Bradley has been down but has all of the resources to be good consistently. Little Rock seems to be average and has an older team. If this is true I am not sure if Fort Meyers, Miami or Las Vegas will get my tourism dollars. Maybe I should go to all three!

Actually there's some more support for that program these days. (a new on campus facility is one of them)

I am season ticket holder and think that is a horrible night to hold the game. We will not be able to attend and guess the attendance will be quite low. At least I can trade the tickets in for a different game.

Looks like no game or contract with Wisconsin this year. Badgers' nc schedule has been announced

When I went on the Badgers website this morning they only had 7 noncon games listed. That is light. If GB has to keep playing 4 for 1 then I am fine not scheduling UW anymore.

UW should quit acting so tough if they can't play in mid-major buildings more. Sent from my SCH-R970 using proboards

1) Only 1/2 of the UW NC schedule has been announced, and 2) I would not assume the UW series is not continuing. There are a lot of moving parts that come into play here....

Most majors do 2 for 1's but holding GB or UWM hostage because they're in state NO deal.
