Just wanted to give a big thank you to four great and fun years of being able to watch Alec Brown grow into a great basketball player. He broke a lot of records and racked up many accolades, and grew into a top 5 player in school history. We got to see the skinny freshman 7 footer turn into one hell of a ball player. Here's to hoping he can find a way to play professional ball in the US so we'll all be fortunate enough to continue to see him play and grow.
Here's to 4 great and exciting years, and good luck to Alec in all of his future endeavors.

Really been a great four years. When he committed here we just lost two of our best freshman to Toledo and the cupboard was dry. He really helped lay the foundation and helped bring this program to the level of competing for conference championships. Wish Alec the best of luck in the next stage of his career.

He turned into a very effective player this year.
It's tough to evaluate him because the expectations are always so high for an extra-tall player. People can be unfair.
But his game really improved, epecially this year, and also I think Wardle did a good thing in making him more of a three-point line player.
I think the constant "NBA prospect" talk put him in a tough spot, raised people's expectations even higher.

Thanks to Alec for his 4 years here.....I wasn't sure if he was going to be the player he was. Not the greatest ending to a career, as he struggle late this season because of the shoulder.
I remember when TK was looking at Alec Brown and Ben Mills (another 7 footer from the Milwaukee area), and for a while Mills was the popular choice. However, Mills ended up going to Colorado and never got off the bench. Alec ended up coming here despite the coaching change before he cam on campus, and the rest is HL history......:-)

I agree, I will miss Alec. I think he improved a lot over his time in Green Bay. I think his development was under rated as a lot of teams just packed it in on him and dared him to go 1 on 2, 1 on 3 or make him pass to a less skilled teammate. If he wants it I think he will make a very nice living playing basketball.

Your unselfishness was greatly appreciated by most. I remember reading how you grew from 6'4" to your current height in 2-3 years of HS. So I'm sure you will continue to improve and make us all proud that we had the chance to be a small part of your development.

It is unfortunate he had the shoulder problem to end his career. It couldn't have been easy playing with that for the past month. While it wasn't a realistic option, would have been nice to have redshirted him for 1 year early in his career to let him get stronger. Like I say, unrealistic, but would have been ideal in his case.

Yes thanks Alec. GB does not win the regular season title without Alec going back and playing at less than 100%. He had some huge games, especially on the road in Ohio that helped clinch the title.

Second everything said from Milwaukee. A more than capable foe who was a joy to watch play for four years. Best of luck in what we all hope is a long and prosperous professional career.
