Incredible showing by the Nix. Well deserved. But still a lot of work to be done.

This says a lot about what Wardle's peers think of how he is managing the Green Bay program.

Yes it's nice that his peers realize what a great Coach he is. Also Congrats to Keifer for Player of the Year, only one is choosen. Congrats to Alec for Defensive player of the year. Congrats to Keifer and Alec for 1st Team honors. Congrats to Alec and Jordan for all defensive honors. Quite a list from 1 team. Now finish it off with a atuo bid to The Dance. Then follow it up by keeping on Winning.

What a great job cleaning up by the Phoenix! It shows how good they were on both ends of the floor. Two guys noted for defense as well as two of three best overall guys in the league.
Sykes is so humble, his comments about Wardle winning show why this team is so good. When the best guy doesn't act that way off the court it is easy to follow his lead.
Wardle earning coach of the year was a lock. One that can not be debated. I read a few fans in other places think it should go to an overachieving team but other uwm there wasn't one (and they didn't do that great). CSU was picked 3rd, finished 2nd and GB beat them by double figures twice. Not sure how anyone can think Waters was CoTY, even if he is probably the best guy in the league over the long term.
They need at least two more wins for any of it to matter though.

GB cleaned up, but I still thought they deserved more. Jordan Fouse deserved a spot on the 2nd team.
Oakland had a 1st teamer, a 2nd teamer, an all-defense, and freshman of the year. They must have been outstanding. The voters love volume scorers. Efficiency and defense wins games. Bader belonged on the 2nd team, bump Howard up, and bump Petros off the list for Fouse. Fouse shut down every scorer he faced, he's dominant without scoring.

I'm fine with Bader getting 1st team with breaking the 3 point record. I don't mind the selections. Jordan could have certainly gotten 2nd team. Even G could have been close.

Congratulation to the players and coaches. This has been a very special year and it is not over yet. I am looking forward to the tournament. The Milwaukee games proves that they can not take a day off even at home.

That Sykes was not unanimous is a joke. No player comes close to what he does.

I see what you're saying and he is surrounded by better talent but I don't think that should be a deterrent after the year he has had. It should have been unanimous in my opinion.

Along the same lines I think Alec Brown isn't the best defender on his team let alone in the conference. Don't get me wrong Alec does more than just block shots but Jordan Fouse has really improved his man to man defense to go on top of his steals, blocks and rebounds. I think Jordan should win the next two DPoY awards.
