Green Bay (23-5, 13-2) @ Detroit (13-17, 6-9) When: Saturday, 3:00 Where: Detroit, Michigan Streaming: Horizon League Network
Final regular season game, how quick time flies when you're having fun. Need another win for potential big dance seeding. Detroit is physical and athletic. The Nix need to take care of the ball better than they did in the 1st half versus Oakland. Fouse will need to shut down Juwan Howard Jr again, a tall task. Howard has really stepped up his game this year. I'm not a fan of Coach McCallum, but considering the massive offseason losses, I think they've had a productive season. I see them as a team that could give the Horizon league a 3rd worthwhile team next year after Green Bay and Cleveland St.

I can't believe this is the last game of the regular season, felt just like yesterday that I was at the packed Resch for the game against UW.
With that being said, still a lot of work to accomplish.

Great hard fought victory for the Nix. Great way to finish off the season. Keif is hitting full gear going into to conference tourney. His windmill dunk was a beauty.

A win is a win. It was good to close out the season with a 2 game margin and get a road win when they "didn't have to."
The Sykes dunk was sweet, I great exclamation point!
I thought Findlay had a few mistakes on offense but he really played good defense on Howard in the first half. I thought he did the best job on him despite giving up size. Speaking of Howard, he and Brundidge may be two of the players in the league that I would least want on my team as a fan. Don't get me wrong they are both talented but those guys don't play a lot of team offense and are often looking to go one on one to the hoop. Sure it works sometimes but it was noticeable watching a cohesive team in GB wear down a bunch of guys playing one on one. GB is winning this year not just because of their talent but they are by far the best in the league at playing together with their talent.
Two more wins to go but really it is more than that. This is a team that dancing shouldn't be enough, this is a team that needs to make some noise. This is a team that we need to be talking about decades from now.
