Green Bay (19-5, 9-2) @ Youngstown State (13-12, 4-6) When: Thursday, 6:00 Where: Youngstown, Ohio TV: Time Warner SportsChannel Streaming: HLN, ESPN3
Awesome this is on TV. I hope the young men are refreshed and ready to get after it. Keifer needs to start defending again, that's been missing for 3 weeks now. He is too talented and has too much pride to let that trend continue. Hope to see more if Fonzi again. A win here sets up a huge game in Cleveland Saturday.

Hoping that they are rested and getting healthy. Big game before the show down in Cleveland. This league is to close in talent for any let downs. Need all of them to concentrate and start a new winning streak and run it through the tournament. This is a big job with all the road games left. I will be watching them on TV and hope when they get back home they have a few more wins. Go Phoenix.

YSU starting F Ryan Weber is doubtful for tonight. That's a break for the Phoenix, he's a quality young player who can shoot.

Something I just thought of. What happens to our respective TV deals with TWC now that Comcast has bought TWC?

Green Bay is a 4 point road favorite tonight. However, the Phoenix have lost 6 of their last 7 against the spread and are 10-10 against the spread this year.
GB won by 17 at Beeghly last season.
Go Phoenix and go UIC tonight

Great to see the real Phoenix back. The guys had a spring in their step again, and were having fun again. They looked drained for about 3 or 4 weeks. Hope Coach never schedules a non-conference game during conference play again. That was the last time they played liked themselves, and were banged up ever since.
Awesome work to hold a YSU team that averages 79 to just 40. That's the defense that will bring the title back to Titletown.

Fun, relaxing game to watch. It has been a long time since they played a complete game. Brown was great on both offense and defense, still needs to get to the free throw line and get his rebounds back up. He did seem to mix it up more today and play agressive. Sykes played within himself and had some great assists. I still think Mays has loads of potential. Nice to see McKinney get his first points and more minutes.

Great game all around, hopefully we can see the same Phoenix team tomorrow. Alec looks like he's coming around with that shoulder, can't wait for the HL tourney to be here.

My DVR didn't record the game on Thursday but I finally watched the game on replay yesterday.
There were a few sloppy minutes in the second half but other than that it was a great effort by GB. The rebounding was insane, the high low post game was good, they really went to the hoop instead of settling for 3's and they play mostly good defense although YSU when open couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. Like everyone else I was most impressed with how they bounced back and were ready to play.
McKinnie looked so much more fluid and active. He can be a real difference maker down the stretch. Plus Lowe looked really mature. With those two guys stepping in that creates less of a let down from Mays and Brown. That could be hard for other teams to stop.
I know it is too early to type this since GB could play them again but I would have to expect that this was the last time they face Jerry Slocum. How can YSU bring him back after 9 years of this?

Side note, I was way behind on technology at home. I finally bought a new computer this week with beats audio. It is amazing. I could hear so much stuff, the game was like a new experience. I am kind of mad that I took so long to upgrade, this season would have been even better.
