As long as we keep winning I have no problem with G's dunk.

Alec Brown with a comes up big showing the senior presence on the team. 24 pts on such efficient shooting is big time when the team needs him most. Need to clean things up down the stretch. Keifer with 6 TO's is a little sloppy but he has been playing solid so deserves some slack and Greg Mays the unsung hero down the stretch, inconsistent from the Line usually but iced it away late. HUGE WIN!!!

Wright State keyed on Sykes because they thought that was the way to beat the Nix. The Raiders coach figured his bigs could neutralize Brown. It didn't work. As long as Sykes and Brown are on the court with this supporting cast GB will be a tough out. The only thing that might put a nail in the Phoenix will be foul trouble. That's why the loss of McKinnie with the knee injury is so huge. Wardle played an 8 man rotation against Wright State. He needs a couple more players to be game ready down the stretch. My wish list reserves are players who can play solid D and rebound. If Brown is on the bench GB needs to be able to spread the floor to use their athleticism. Botz might be a factor while he is not the most athletic guy his outside shoot looks extremely good and that would help spread the court.
Does anyone remember when the Nix couldn't win on the road?

I remember those road loss days, especially during the TK era......
I didn't have a problem with Mays' dunk at the end. It's not like GB won by 25-30 and was rubbing it in. The game was relatively close until late.
I hope Al McKinnie can get health and be a part of the roation going into February. He can bring energy and scoring off the bench, even if it is a limited number of minutes.
GB, if they don't have any significant injuries or suddenly forget how to play at a high level, should win until the WSU rematch in GB on 2/1. They are playing the bottom of HL until then.
