While it isnt streaming online today, I am looking forward to some game action. Garrett in the starting lineup on the wing should be a nice mismatch for GB.
A lot of early talk about the new rules in college hoops. A lot of HL fans think GB has been one of the more 'handsy' teams in the past. A lot of talk about more zone d being plsyed because of the rules. GB should be ahead of the curve if zone becomes a bigger part of the game.

The V-Hawks didn't have a lot of size or experience so it was good to see GB just blow them away. Especially since Keifer really didn't play much.
Things I liked to see: 1. Alec Brown with 10 boards. 2. Greg Mays with two long jumpers and two made free throws. 3. Vince Garrett with a 3 pointer. 4. Destroying them on the glass. 5. Playing really fast with the transition game. 6. Botz getting a ton of effort boards. 7. After not doing much in the Bahama's or the scrimmage, Fouse showed he is alive and ready on offense. No signs of a sophomore slump.
Things I didn't like as much: 1. For as good as Lowe played offensively he only had 1 board, a dude like that should never only have 1 board. 2. Fulton was 1-4 from deep. If he isn't hitting then he might find it hard to get minutes. 3. The 3 point shooting in general was weak. 4. The free throw % was weak but really based on three guys. Fouse and Garrett need to be better as I expect them to play a lot and get to the line. I am not sure what Humphrey's role will be so I am not as worried about his 0-3 right now. 5. I didn't see all of the game but I understand the D was that disciplined at times, can't have that ever this year.
I am ready for Saturday and to see their roles start to take form.
