Who is carrying the games locally on radio now? Wasn't it WDUZ that had the radio broadcasts until this season?

WNFL(1440). While I'm not sure of 1440's signal strength compared to DUZ's AM & FM signals, this should be a positive move for both the men's and women's game coverage.
Even as the "hometown" teams, they seemed to get third-class coverage, because DUZ also carried the Badgers and the G-Eagles games. Delayed starts, or replay of games later at night, lack of a decent promo/lead in to the pregame shows or updated info for start times that changed due to tournament delays, etc. It just seemed like they were not getting the due that a home team deserved.
In addition, both coaches will also be weekly guests on the Maino & Nick Show; and WNFL will air a "Phoenix Minute" each Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

I think the move is overall a positive. I did enjoy driving in the car and having a clear FM signal of the game being called, but with Badgers and Marquette conflicts it seemed like GB was always on the AM 1400 channel anyway. WNFL daytime coverage area: and night time coverage area: WNFL is part of the Milwaukee Bucks radio network but you'd think that being GB's flagship station would give them priority over the Bucks. Ultimately, I think GB should try and hook up with another station or two and create an actual Green Bay Phoenix radio network. Wardle usually does interviews on WSCO in Appleton, perhaps try to get them on board (there would be Marquette and Bucks conflicts) and maybe try to add a Manitowoc / Sheboygan station. For night games the WNFL signal will barely be heard outside of Brown County. I do like that WNFL (like WDUZ) has live streaming online for games when there isn't a video broadcast. Unfortunately, WNFL isn't on iHeartRadio or TuneIn so you probably won't be able to stream it on a phone or anything else besides a computer

This is not a positive move. Anytime you go from a strong FM signal signal to a weak AM station, you will lose coverage. Those maps are extremely inaccurate. I highly doubt you will get WNFL during the day, in West Bend. Night games will be hard to pick up more than 20-25 miles outside of Green Bay. Plus, their on line streaming is very inconsistent. Sometimes they stream, sometimes they don't.
I think WDUZ gave up on trying to sell any advertising outside of the major sponsors. Plus, it doesn't help when half of the WDUZ on air reporters can't name 5 of the men's players, and have never attended a women's game.
At least Maino will talk the program up and promote it as much as he can.
