www.jsonline.com/sports/panthers/panthers-audition-for-key-backup-role-ec2u1ae-133311838.htmlUW-M wins by just 8 versus a mediocre D2 UW-Parkside. Their starters had to play starters minutes in an exhibition game. I guess that is better than what WSU did. They score just 50 and lost by 6 against Central St. Ouch. They shot just 34%, and were outrebounded by 18. Imagine what GB will do to them on the glass. I'm still shocked some think WSU will still be competitive. They haven't recruited a decent player since N'Gia Evans. He graduated last year.

JT is a Sheboygan native and besides the great job he did at Lawrence, he has quickly turned Hillsdale around. He spends a fair amt of time recruting around here and has a few Wisconsin kids on his roster, notably Derek Schell from Waukesha CM, Matt Clarke from Appleton East and Brandon Pritzl from De Pere. He was in on a couple of other 2011 kids from Eastern Wisconsin, one of them being Reece Zoelle, but he opted fro UM-Duluth.
I know Jon had hoped to get an interview with GB two years ago, but I think it only went as far as a phone call/discussion. His name will continue to surface when future jobs open up.

Kelm's play, or lack thereof, may have UWM reconsider the Panoske redshirt possibility.
Butler ran into a buzz saw at Evansville as they opened their new arena. Aside from getting hosed by the men in stripes, they threw a full court pass to Smith at the end of the regulation and he laid it in and it should have counted for the win. On the other hand, they blew a 13 pt lead and missed FT's down the stretch.

Kelm's play, or lack thereof, may have UWM reconsider the Panoske redshirt possibility. Would it really help to replace one softy with another?

Big win for Cleveland State!
I don't like seeing the HL teams lose but I do like that Butler lost. It just shows the rest of the league that they may have a chance to pass Butler up this year.
I am not a uwm fan but I won't judge this game too much since they did play without their two best players. Speaking of which I think a 1 game suspension for Kaylon Williams is pretty weak based on the reports of what he did last summer.
I remember thinking that Kyle Kelm was a must get for GB. I was chatting with one of the few people I knew that at the time has "inside" info. He made it sound like the GB coaching staff thought he was really soft for a player with his skills. That looks to be the case so far.
