A player Green Bay is following in the 2014 class is Chicago guard Torry Johnson. Torry is the younger brother of Phoenix sophomore Terry Johnson Jr. Torry is a 6'2" combo guard that plays on a loaded Morgan Park team. Here is a link with a write of Morgan Park's season opening win, lead by Torry's 16 points.

Mark Miller tweeted a few weeks ago of the Phoenix interest in lefty guard Cam Ward of Marshall HS in WI. He is now listed on Rivals. It was Ward's buzzing beating 3 that beat Jordan Fouse at the sectional championship this year. The Phoenix are showing a strong interest in 6'7" forward Ethan Happ.

NY2LASports has tweeted that Green Bay has offered Oconomowoc's TJ Schlundt. This is the 1st time I've heard of Coach Wardle offering a sophomore. The staff can get a head start on this class since we have just 1 opening for 2013.

Not sure why NY2LA took that tweet down, but Jerrelle tweeted that he was up here for an unofficial visit and he loved it

GB has now indeed offered 6-7 Ethan Happ from Illinois. Sounds like he got an offer from Wisconsin this weekend too

I hope everyone is following uwgbphoenixfan on twitter as @phearthephoenix If you are, you'd know of numerous players the Nix are showing interest in that were at the Green Bay Elite camp today. Those include Jerrelle Deberry, Michael Finke, and Cam Ward.

I believe 6-2 shooting guard Riley LaChance from Brookfield Central was at the GB elite camp yesterday as well. GB is keeping tabs on him, no offer yet tho

When I saw Ward up close last summer he reminded me of Frank Seckar, both physically and his game. I think his game has evolved a bit, but would really like to see GB land him.
Riley LaChance was the kid I inferred to when GB BB and Black Panther discussed Hegner back in March? He is a sleeper, but I am doubting they will offer, unless there is a defection.
Hats off to UWGB for the quality of their team camp. It has come a long way in the last couple of years. Instead of making the journey to campus to catch 2 or 3 kids, it is now hard to decide which court you're going to choose to pick to catch multiple kids.

Saw the south paw Ward play at the GB tournament. Hit a game winner vs Berlin and Hegner. Great vision, great scorer, great defender. Guessing the sharpshooter will have an offer from the Phoneix before the end of summer.

Sounds like class of 2014 players Reed Timmer (6-1 guard from New Berlin) and Brady Ellingson (6-3 from Sussex) were also at the GB elite camp on Monday
