I'll plug the other site. www.Bradleyfans.com the site is struggling because of a war between two sides of our fanbase.... (I guess it happens when you are coming off the worst season in 113 years) As said the game is on campus and tickets are $20.... which I find too expensive but whatever... We will see what happens... you will be treated nicely as long as you don't bring up the Packers.. The closest fun bar to go to is The Fieldhouse (named after our old arena) in the campus town shopping center nearby off Main street. Maybe a friendly golden tee match? I don't know anything about your team.... I would describe our team as "raw"

Anyone who is going, be sure to stop by Hoops downtown. We enjoyed the pizza when we went down there for the Bracketbuster a few years ago. It was the third place we went into, the first two were packed. Hoops had to open its second floor for us. I'm guessing that won't be a problem this time, but I still recommend it.

It could be said that GB is in year #11 of a major rebuild... I used to read bradleyfans.com a lot. I found a lot of good recruiting info on that site. As I have less time I have visited less. I would hate having two message boards to view for my home team. I think Bradley is the favorite in this game. They are at home and while they may "only" be 16-16 it isn't like GB has a much better record. Plus I thought they played a better schedule leading to a less impressive record. Normally I would say if Sykes and Brown are rolling GB should win against most mid majors. I just wonder about the chance of them both rolling in the same game, let alone next 5 games. In games I have personally attended away from the Resch Center this year GB is 1-5 with the only win coming on a neutral site over Southern Utah. So while I am very tempted to jump in the car on Wednesday I am not sure that I should. Then again if anyone else was actually going I wouldn't want to miss out. Is this tournament seeded or do they reshuffle after every round to see who is left and can host? The website doesn't have the games in a bracket format as of right now.

It appears they rematch after round 1 and geography is a priority...so it is possible the winner of this game would play the winner of Chicago State - UIC

Any reason why the game isn't being played at Carver Arena? Was it a scheduling conflict?

Thanks, the watch party in Eugene will be held just north of the University of Oregon campus, near Ascot Park.

Any reason why the game isn't being played at Carver Arena? Was it a scheduling conflict? IMO the attendance isn't expected to be high and they figured they could charge $20 and fill most of the 4500 seat arena rather than half the Carver half empty for tickets between $8-$20....big games can draw upwards of 11,000 aka Michigan Illinois State hopefully its a fuller crowd... history says otherwise students on spring break too so don't expect any AT ALL...considering they don't show up when they are in town.

Nix up 9 at the half. Playing solid D. Jordan Fouse has been awesome, he continues to progress offensively and had a big throw down in traffic on the break. Keep it up and advance!!

Nix lose 75-69.....They give up 51 points to BU in the 2nd half. Did Bradley channel their inner Loyola Marymount circa 1990?

Turnovers lead to quick scores for Bradley. Brown with 5 very costly turnovers. The technical on Wardle hurt bad too. Disappointing end to a disappointing season. Flashes are there, but more is needed.

A very frustrating loss. Bradley has a lot of good athletes and as GB wore down and made dumb plays in crunch time Bradley capitalized..."ka-boom." The technical foul on Wardle was not well timed either, killed any chance right there.
I am not sure who the officials were but I didn't recognize them from the HL and the Bradley radio guys didn't recognize them from the MVC. They didn't cost GB the game but if you don't know your limit with a ref then you need to be even more cautious and not draw a technical.
Speaking of the Bradley radio guys, the play by play guy was really under prepared. He didn't seem to know much about anything. He had a poor man's Harry Carey going in that he seemed like he was drinking, didn't know what was going on and couldn't say any names correctly. Add in the scoreboard video feed and it was a tough game to watch online.
Wardle seems to not have a feel for situations. At Indiana St last year gets a time out that costs GB the win. In the HL tournament he doesn't get a time out against UIC that if he gets costs GB the win. At Bradley he gets a timeout when Brown is in process of drawing a foul and will go to the line. Yes, they did score out of the timeout anyway but he was potentially taking points off the board. I could go on. He really needs a veteran guy in the locker room with him asap.
