Green Bay @ Cleveland St TV: ESPNU
Back and forth game so far tonight for Green Bay. They need this win as they fight for the best seed possible in the conference tournament. 2nd place is a very realistic goal.

I got home and turned on ESPN and it was CSU 40 GB 27. Then GB went on a 14 point run. Great zone defense fueled turnovers and Alec and Kiefer fueled the Offensive(they combined for 31 2nd half points). Defense was outstanding. CSU did get the lead back when we went back to man to man which from the announcers was the problem in the 1st half. We returned to the zone and took the lead and the game. Great game men a team effort defensively. The only down side was Cole got hurt towards the end. He appeared to get hit in the eye? Congrats to G Mays with a double double.

I am vacationing in Tucson this week and was able to take advantage of Green Bay being on nation wide TV. I also picked up the game at 40 - 27. Brown and Sykes looked great during the time I was watching.

A 7-1 player making three point shots really opens up the court. A tip of the ht to Mays and Fouse too.

Always nice to get a road win. Defense is key to winning on the road, and this team has been playing great D ever since it started playing its best defenders and exploiting their strengths with the 1-2-2 zone.

Down 9 at half I was annoyed but I wasn't worried. I didn't CSU was a good enough shooting team to sustain the lead. Down 13 one minute into the second half I will admit I was worried. I give the guys a lot of credit, they turned up the defense to the normal level and add in Alec and Keifer being studs that was that.
Alec popping the 3 and then on the next trip down going for a dribble drive dunk may have been his best offensive sequence this year.
