www.greenbayphoenix.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=22500&ATCLID=206354561I thought this had some interesting stats. The Phoenix leads the league in scoring D, defensive field goal percentage, blocks and rebounding margin. They are second in free throw percentage. On the year they have made more free throws than the other team attempts and I would assume that is the case in conference play as well. Most fans 3 years ago would have said if the Phoenix did those things they would be happy and the team would be winning. Since the team is only .500 on the year and only 4th in league play it begs what is missing? Does having players that can do the things they do well mean we have to live with turnovers? Can this ever be cleaned up? Is the offensive approach not good enough and players are not put in a spot to succeed? Is the coaching itself not good enough? Of the 9 man rotation GB only has 2 players in their 3rd year with the program, do we just have to wait for them to grow together as a team? It is just interesting that they can do so many good things that fans have been begging for, yet the seats are relatively empty and record is not really insipiring.

I second that they've done alot of good things this year. I for one think they've been fun to watch and don't understand why the attendance isn't higher? I think it's still a young team and coach who will get better. I'm also and optimist lol. I'm hoping for another finish like last year and post season play?
