Detroit @ Green Bay Saturday, 1:00, The Resch Center TV: Time Warner Sports 32
Back in the frying pan today. Hope the team has something left after a handful of players played around 46 minutes versus WSU. Detroit is up to #58 in RPI, but Green Bay has a chance on their home floor if its a basketball game. If the officials let the game become a rugby match like Thursday, the Nix will lose. GB is much better at basketball than rugby.
I wish Sykes was healthier going into this one, he was pretty banged up after Jerran Young tackled him on that fastbreak layup attempt Thursday. A healthy Sykes versus McCallum Jr is a great show.
Detroit's Doug Anderson is an awestriking physical talent, and Jason Caliste is a serious shooter who gives them some balance.
Could be a nice crowd today. Go Phoenix!

Looks like Kam and Cole can help each other. Teams can't over play when they're both in there and HOT.
Looked up the stats combined 19pts, 4-6 on 3's, 7 rebs, 1 to and 100% ft's.

Tough, focused effort by the Phoenix today. Wardle was masterful down the stretch exposing Detroit's flawed, fundamental less defense. Team effort.
Also a relief watching a tightly officiated ball game. Much more appealing than Thursday's debacle.

So what happened to the TW broadcast?
I DVR'd the game and all I got was a MU Warrior game.... ew.... can anyone tell me how I can disinfect my DVR?

I found it on TW channel 310 and was able to watch the 2nd half. Had a sick wife to take care of or I'd been there.

A great bounce back for the Nix. I think Wardle discovered something playing Stefan and Cerroni together. It opens things up inside and really helps spacing.

A slow start but a big finish for the Phoenix. Great win.
It was good to see both Kam and Cole play well. Especially Kam because he didn't quit on his season after two DNP's.
Keifer was a stud down the stetch. That dunk was amazing since it was in the half court off the bounce. He isn't as good as Ray Jr. but he is close. Ray Jr. is the best player in the league and he put on a show.
I would love to see Alec get on the glass a little more. He almost defers to Jordan instead of having the Jordan mindset of getting after every ball. It was good to see Alec get a couple of big blocks down the stretch.
GB needs to stop the win/lose every other game pattern, they need a sweep on the road this weekend.

Sorry, I wish Time Warner would have shared the fact that the game was being played on channel 310. I also have a DVR infected by Marquette. I soaked it in acid and then gave it 50 lashes with a reed.

A great bounce back for the Nix. I think Wardle discovered something playing Stefan and Cerroni together. It opens things up inside and really helps spacing. I doubt we see them together much going forward. We could get Cerroni open against Detroit's terribly unorganized defense, but he just can't get open in the half court against a real defense. A real defense would be Green Bay's. They held Detroit well below their average, and limited them to 41% shooting. Detroit wins with their offense, so shutting it down is truely impressive.
