On twc32 which is very nice.
If ever a must win game existed it is this one. Actually I feel like GB needs to sweep this entire home stand to have any real chance in league play.
Not sure what to make of Loyola right now. Very impressive non conference record but dropped a home game to YSU recently. GB has normally done very well at home against Loyola. Please stop turning the ball over so much, if GB does that I think they win.

Home cooking agrees with the Nix. What a Jekyll and Hyde team. There's talent on this roster. Nice win and Fouse will be special.

I don't think he realizes how truly gifted he is. He had a double double and with a couple more steals could have had a triple. He only had 7 steals. Having him trapping on the 3/4 court pressure was a great game plan with his quickness and leaping. He got a hand on other balls that bounced to a Loyola player or he would have been credited with more. Well done to all the Phoenix on a great game and great game plan. Turnovers were still a problem?

That was a very inspiring defensive effort by everyone. Fouse with the steals obviously but great to see Alec get the blocks going again.
Still a little concerned about the turnovers and free throw shooting. None of the other guards handled any pressure very well. Love, Cerroni and Sultan all struggled with the ball in their hands at points in the game. Only Keifer seems to have a strong handle right now. This needs to change for the other guys.
I love how effective Cougill and Kam were on offense. When they came in GB found a way to get the ball to them in spots they could score. Cougs is a force down low when he sticks to what he did last night.
Good win, now they need 3 more of them.

Rob Demovsky's game story has some great quotes from Porter Moser about what this defense usually does, and what it was last night: Green Bay throttles Loyola with in- your- face defenseI walked out of last night's game thinking, how did Loyola come in 10-4? GB took Averkamp out, and it looks like the dinner table has taken Culley Payne out. They didn't have much else. Freshman Devon Turk was impressive. That's about it. Green Bay just overwhelmed them with our talent. Like GBPhoenix1 said, time for 3 more just like it.

Also in attendance for last night's game were GB commit Kenneth Lowe, along with GB targets Matt Heldt, Cody Schwartz, and Aaron Moesch(being recruited to walk- on). All three are having very strong HS seasons. Schwartz is averaging 19 a game as a sophomore.

I agree Devon Turk looks like a player. I watched the WSU game and he was solid there too. Watching him get his 3 point shot off easily makes me jealous that the GB shooters have to work so hard to get a look.
