Idaho State looks to have a decent size inside so it might not be a huge advantage for GB. I would love to see GB continue to pound the glass against a team with a legit center.
GB has started the CSU, Nevada and CSF games off slow and with turnover issues. That needs to be corrected. Against Fullerton and CSU the Phoenix looked like a deer in headlights and not at all ready for the athletic ability. I would like to see them come out ready to play from the opening tip.
For $9.95 you can view the game on the Idaho website.
Need a big bounce back road win.

2nd straight embarrassingly dreadful defensive effort. How can a team with so many experienced players be so clueless defensively?

2nd straight embarrassingly dreadful defensive effort. How can a team with so many experienced players be so clueless defensively? Agreed, three games in a row where the opponent shoots 50% or better on three pointers. Also ot out rebounded today. Let's hope some rest helps. At least Cerroni shot better.

Well I am glad I didn't make the trip to Moscow, spending $5 online was enough of a waste.
This has nothing to do with the game but what a joke of a court that was. I understand the historic nature of the building but man that court looked like trash. That wasn't even fitting of pickup hoops let alone D1 hoops.
As for the game. The guys looked tired. They were beat back in transition constantly. They couldn't match up with their man several times and gave up buckets. The first half post defense was M.I.A. Plus the boxing out and rebounding was horrible. GB had 2 offensive rebounds late in the game to "pad" the stats. On offense they struggled against a zone look, they really didn't seem to be able to execute anything. Just a poor game and pretty much has me down on the prospects of this team and this season.
The only bright spot was Greg Mays knocked down 2 free throws. He looks much improved in that area.
I don't recall seeing Daniel Turner get in during the second half. I saw him walk off the court at one point, I hope it isn't serious.
A very solid NDSU is up next, at this pace all I can say is good luck.

Ugh......This was a game GB should have won. Wright St. beat this same bunch by 10. Where is GB's collective head at? HL contenders don't lose to teams like this.......Nevada is a contender in the MWC, Cal St. Fullerton is a contender in the Big West, but Idaho is a middle of the road team in the WAC.
GB, you are better than this......
