Does anyone know if the internet stream is free? It appears to be but I can't seem to figure it out. Pretty cool that they are even streaming the games that Nevada isn't a part of. It's $10.95 for the whole tournament. Andrew Gavin has all the info in his tourney preview: Green Bay starts World Vision Tournament on Friday nightShould be some good games this weekend. It is a solid field. Southern Utah projects as the wekest team in the group, so hopefully the Phoenix can come out and play a better game than they did versus Chicago St. I'm guessing Alec Brown was under the weather versus Chicago St, as he spent the whole game with his hands on his knees. He was late reacting to everything. It was very uncharacteristic of him. I'm guessing he comes out with more fire tonight.

Nix up 34-24 at the half. They have substituted heavily, all ten available have already played. AB spent a long stretch on the bench after catching an elbow in the eye. He has since returned and has been productive. Sykes leads with 10, including 2 triples.

Nix win 66-54. They aren't shooting well enough to put teams away yet, but still move to 2-0 for the 1st time in a long, long time.

Nix win 66-54. They aren't shooting well enough to put teams away yet, but still move to 2-0 for the 1st time in a long, long time. The next 2 games should show if we're ready. I like that Wardle played alot of people with 3 games in about 40 hrs. Need to shoot better from 3 point, 2 and FT's. Also looks like Love played alot (and good) due to Cerroni's foul trouble. Just read the article were the ref came over to Wardle and asked him to calm down the freshman lol and Wardle saying he brings alot of energy. Only 9 turnovers were good. FT percentage was down too, not terrible but needs to be at least 75%. 3 pointers not much better than last game. BC looked like player of the game from the stats. Though Brown and Sykes had good games, hope Alec's eye (missed 10 min.) is ok today. Still a good road win.

Here's the link to the article jjmiller spoke of: Phoenix men pull away early in tournament opening winlove was impressive last night. I love the edge he competes with. this team needs that mentality. This kid is old school. he also had a couple of beautiful spin maoves to set up drives to the basket. It's very beneficial that he is getting this playing time, he'll be very good by mid-season. Tough game tonight. Nevada didn't play like themselves for their 1st 75 minutes of the season. Their better than what they've shown, and closed well last night. That backcourt is outstanding, and Panzer is an improving big who really impressed me last night. big and moves well. To have a chance tonight, the Nix need to continue to dominate the glass, but also need to start sticking some 3's. Brown will need to be more efficient offensively. Sykes needs to avoid foul trouble while defending a great talent in Burton.

Cerroni with a 4 point play to give the Nix an 8-4 lead.

13-9 Nix. Playing absolutely outstanding defense so far. Too many turnovers, but they're making up for it by banging the glass.

Turnovers pile up, along with Browns continued soft play, and the Nix now trail at the half 35-31.
Cougill has been a beast inside. A couple of charges called against Love and Sykes really hurt, as both were laughably bad calls.
If the Nix can start taking care of the ball they will have a chance to steal a road win. Nevada is physically strong and defends well, but don't have much length besides Panzer. He has struggled so far.

Nevada's Burton hits a 25' running 3 pointer at the buzzer to give them a 71-69 win. Yuck.

Tough loss. Lots of ifs and buts. Could have easily won it with a few more free throws or a little better shooting.
Let's see how they respond tomorrow.

You win some at the buzzer you lose some at the buzzer. Just Gotta keep the heads up and keep on trucking. No worries here.

Holy crap Tulsawarrior, are your spelling mishaps caused by trying to type on a phone, or are you having a stroke?
I hope your OK buddy! Thanks for the links. I think I'm going to merge this thread with the other game discussion thread to avoid this tragically misspelled title.
