Promote rhaomen Fletcher. Have Jordan McCabe take player development spot? I would love to have all three. Turner botz is a head coach at a Appleton high school maybe him?

If Jordan McCabe wasn't from Kaukauna would anyone think he would be qualified for an assistant coaching job at GB?

If Jordan McCabe wasn't from Kaukauna would anyone think he would be qualified for an assistant coaching job at GB? Well he was an assistant coach for West Virginia this past season. Obviously the only reason he got that job though was because Huggins got fired last summer and they had to fill an opening mid offseason. But I agree, just because he’s from the area is no reason to hire someone. I’d prefer someone with a bit more experience, especially when it comes to recruiting.

He had agreed to an assistant coaching deal with Huggins before Huggins was fired. I watched an interview with him from last fall. He said he was going to be a player development coach under Huggins and that it was a handshake deal with no contract. He bought a house and was planning a wedding but wasn't sure he would have a job once Huggins was fired. He said he also had a player development opportunity under Juwan Howard at Michigan before taking the WVU opportunity with Huggins. Coach Zach ran the offense from what Wicks has said. He had a decade of coaching experience, preparing scouting reports and recruiting. I'm not totally against McCabe. If Wicks thinks he is good enough then he is good enough. I'm just asking amongst us fans would anyone be posting about him based on his resume if he wasn't from the valley?

Yes he’s from kaukauna. He was a talented player out of high school. He was known for having very good ball handling so I suggested since he has been a player development coach. Since I think promote rahmoen and have Jordan fill in rahmoen spot as uwgb player development coach. If Jimmie foster had gotten the job he was would made rahmoen an assistant. And now rahmoen has actually some kind of coaching experience. Turner botz is an assistant coach at an Appleton high school. Cody Schwartz has had some high coaching experience. I was Cody and turners manager great guys.

The one question with Fletcher is whether he wants to be on the road recruiting? He might, but it's not for everyone.

I've also heard the rumors that Jordan McCabe is going to be the next assistant coach. I have no primary sources and no corroboration on anything beyond the rumors so I can't confirm anything.

With Kayla Karius getting the women’s head coaching job, another possible name is her husband Rick Karius. He doesn’t have any connection to Wicks or Moon that I’m aware of, but he was a director of basketball ops under Wardle at GB. I’m not sure if he’s the best person for the job (whether it’s as an assistant coach or Director of Ops), but if they’re looking for an easy hire, he could be a candidate.

LOL.... spreading rumors and innuendo based on mostly unreliable half truths from a person who knows very little, but did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night?
