If the same Milwaukee team that played Tuesday shows up in Green Bay, GB will dominate them like they did in their first meeting, they looked pretty terrible. But I’d expect Lundy will have them better prepared for Thursdays game. Only question I have is whether Reynolds has any rust coming off his injury. Regardless GB showed they can compete with UWM even without him, so any contribution they get from him is simply a bonus. Gotta limit those turnovers and I have no doubt they’ll be ready to handle the press this game, having Reynolds back will help with that as well. I think it’ll be a competitive game, but of course I expect GB to win and head to Indy. Hope the Kress is rockin.

Yeah, MKE squeeked by Detroit last night, much closer than it should have been on paper. And you're right, we can't fall into a lull thinking that Noah Reynolds being back cures everything. When MKE went to the zone D to start the 2nd half in the last game against us, it made a difference. Looking at our prior 2 games against UWM, they basically swapped stat leaders Markeith Browning from the first game (kicked off team in December) to BJ Freeman in the second game. I feel like MKE is the type of team that if you can get a lead on them and get the crowd into it, they have the potential to implode, although admittedly that did not play out last night when they fell behind against Detroit.

They don't get much bigger than this. A chance to end Milwaukee's season in front of the home crowd. Milwaukee had played better in the 2nd half of the season, but Green Bay is outstanding when Noah is in the lineup.

I'm not reading too much into UW-M barely squeaking by Detroit Mercy on Tuesday. It's pretty obvious they were looking ahead to GB and tonight's game. Same thing happened against IUPUI right before Saturday night.
I am looking forward to finally getting to see Freeman and Reynolds on the court at the same time, should be a good show with plenty of smack talk. Another early technical on BJ would be nice.
As much as those two will likely put on a show, it's going to come down to the other guys. Can't let Fields have an easy time inside again, hopefully Dominic Ham(!) isn't Ray Allen again, Pratt will probably get his but keep the other guys in check.
Having Reynold should help with handling their pressure and Ruedy actually being able to get a breather. Going to have to hit some shots against their likely zone defense.
We beat them in the second round of the 2016 HLT on the way to an NCAA bid, lets do it again tonight.

Pretty amazing GB is only down four, terrible defensive half. Seemed like it was non stop dunks the entire half for Milwaukee. I trust Sunny will fix that in the second.

At the game, shamther fans behind their bench have been louder than the rest of the crowd, at least gb has an actual student section for a change. Wicks doesn’t have the guys ready to play…at least so far. It’s an ALL TIME turnstile performance from Byhre on “defense” and to say otherwise is just arguing in bad faith. Zero discipline nor hustle from pretty much everyone
Whine all you want about “fake fans” and “trolls.” I’ve been to every home game this year and have supported the team in more way than one, just as I have every year for the last 20. Cheer the good and boo the bad. This is bad.

Waiting to hear the defenses of this performance, undoubtedly will be on par with the defense on the court tonight. I think CSU wins the tourney at this point. Let’s hope this isn’t another Wardle or TK situation where the conference tourney is a never ending series of no success. And yes, success IS winning the tourney, nothing less.

This one sucked. Great atmosphere thought when they came out with a 8-0 run they were gonna pull away.
They need size bad. Not sure what happened to their defense but it was non existent the last four games.
I think we saw Reynolds last game as a phoenix.
There’s winning with class and uwm clearly does not do it. I’ll leave it at that.
Now we see who transfers out…

Couldn’t beat the constant pressure all night because no one could dribble around defenders.

GB was 8-31 from deep. UWM had about the same percentage at 4-14 but those 17 fewer 3's resulted in Milwaukee scoring in the paint at will. On offense you need to look no further to understand how GB lost by double digits.
They seemed to do a better job against the press so it was nice to see one issue from Saturday get corrected.
On defense they didn't have the length and athletic ability to guard individually in several match ups. I wouldn't say they executed their game plan very well either but even when they did Milwaukee could make individual plays.
On the glass they didn't get a lot of rebounds in traffic or so it felt. That speaks to the athletic ability of uwm as well.
On an individual level, Freeman who is turnover prone, turned in a masterclass offensive performance. He really didn't do anything wrong on offense. That is hard to overcome.
Noah was pretty good for his first game back.
I would have to think 18 wins goes a long way on the recruiting trail this spring and helps GB get some guys to fill in some gaps on the roster.
