If uwgb has a scholarship obviously Patrick suemenick. If he goes somewhere less would be terrible.

But it’s going to be incredibly interesting where Patrick Suemnick goes unless it’s back to West Virginia. Utah makes sense the coach who was there is now assistant coach there.

Suemnick at the P5 level is most likely an undersized center. He has had a few nice individual games. If he decides to stay at P5 level he is likely going to produce more of the same.
If there is mutual interest with GB I could see him having a much bigger role as his height and mobility level. In the the Horizon League he would be more than a screener and clean up man.
Pat has more game than his stats indicate. I hope he goes somewhere to get to show it off.
Glenn Taylor is a very nice offensive player. He did his best work on an Oregon St team that was comparable to a high level mid major team. If wants a lot of NIL at this stage coming off of his Big East season he might need to reset expectations. He could use a springboard season and also has a tough decision on the correct level of play IMO.

With this news, the GB messageboard just lost a regular poster who wanted him in the worst way. (just kidding)

Lots of uwgb coaches missed out on him. But he obviously wanted to play at a p5 school.

It is always nice to have a scholarship available as the summer progresses. There will be some interesting recruits available either for immediate help or as a developmental student/athlete building block. The Nix are on the practice court, with a great coaching staff, perhaps the best developmental staff from top to bottom in the league.

If there is an open scholarship. Great. This roster lots of last year guys. Some walk ons. The bigs are young. Miranda and roee. Desean or glen would add size. If you add more size would be great to face Milwaukee fields where uwgb got murdered in 3 games last season that may have been because of the coach wicks and coach Monaghan defensive scheme.

I would say Fields went nuts on GB because he is bigger and more athletic than any player GB had on the roster last year.
Asking Rich or Will to match up on a guy like Fields is a tough task.
The bigs GB has now do have the length and athletic ability to match up better. It remains to be seen if that will be enough.
