Why are we having an 11 AM game at the Resch when it’s not a holiday? Can’t capitalize on the success so far and attract a bigger crowds when games are scheduled when everyone is at work or school.
Couldn’t this have been at the Kress at the very least?

It’s because it’s Education Day, so they’ll be a bunch of kids in the stands for the game. I’m sure there’s marketing and monetary reasons they do this game, but it’s pretty ridiculous they chose to do it for a meaningful conference game late in the season. They schedule a non D1 opponent every season, how about they do education day for that game going forward.
And IUPUI is currently ranked 360th in kenpom, so I’m expecting this to be GB domination.

I can't believe that after today's game, there are only 7 games left on the regular season schedule

I am guessing if they knew the team was actually going to be decent this year they wouldn't have wasted a February home game with an 11:00 AM tip on a Thursday. It made sense when they did it in December last year, not so much this year.
I am hoping for a stress free victory, covering the 12.5 spread would be nice.

Let us stress in the 1st half, then adjust and blow them out in the 2nd half. Sunny is more than a motivational speaker. He's a net nerd too.

Slow starts against inferior teams seems to be a common theme this season, which is why I didn’t freak out when they were only up two at halftime. Pure dominance in the second half, IUPUI completely fell apart in the 2nd and GB made them pay. Exactly what I wanted to see with this game, beat down a team that’s terrible. And I’m glad these weekday morning games are over with for the season. Also sucks I have to go a week without a Phoenix game now, but I hope they get rested up for the final stretch.

Couldn’t this have been at the Kress at the very least? I take my previous comment back. 5490 in attendance? That’s the most since the late BW era. We didn’t get these crowds in the Linc Darner/ RP 40 (the only relentless pressure was that in my head watching those teams play) Era or the Sleepy Swing Offense Will Ryan Era where 5490 was the attendance for 4 home games back then. I finally watched the first couple episodes of 3-6-2……Good watch and we get more insight on how Coach Wicks ticks. Imagine if this was an evening or weekend game. Maybe we would have hit 7-8K?

The timing of this particular day game couldn't have been worse. There are only 3 more home games and 2 of those are at the Kress.
As for the game itself, GB didn't have a complete 40 minutes of defense or rebounding. They had good enough effort in those areas to go along with a solid offensive performance to win easily.
GB made a lineup change for the 2nd half and that seemed to help. They did a lot of damage with Noah on the bench so that should help to build up the confidence of the team overall.
They get some rest before heading out east next week.
