Kind of annoying this is a day game during a weekday, but nonetheless this should certainly be a game GB wins. With how terrible IUPUI and Detroit are, there’s no excuse for not finishing the season 4-0 against them combined. Current odds are GB -8, and that seems about right. Only thing that makes me a little nervous is that it’s a third game of a three game road trip, so hopefully they still have the energy they had in the Michigan games. Unless they show up and play horrible, they’ll win this game, and if they play like they did against Oakland they’ll win by 20.

Yeah an 11AM start time on a non-Holiday week Wednesday definitely seems odd, although it is a noon start at the home court. Going to be kind of difficult to enjoy a beer or bourbon watching this on the desktop at work, but hey maybe in the 2nd half after lunch, you never know!!
I thought maybe this was that little school kid day game, but I looked on IUPUI's website and it apparently is called their "Corporate Luncheon Day" game, which should be more subdued than the elementary school kid game. Last year, we were all really grateful IUPUI is in our conference but as baller said we should take care of business this year. IUPUI is 5-12 overall and 1-5 in conference play. Hey, we are 4th in the conference right now!!

Sluggish start to that one. Great job by the guys to get back into it before half and then take over second half. Shout out DJ for his career best game! You can see him growing each game

The first half had me a little worried, but credit to the players and coaches for turning it around in the second half and pulling away with a win. Thankfully Douglas Jr, Reynolds, and Jones came to play because they scored nearly all the team’s points. You can get away with that against IUPUI but against a better team that won’t cut it. Glad we got the win though, just wish I didn’t have to watch it on my phone at work.

Watching this game as a retiree living on the Pacific Coast this was a treat. Coffee, breakfast and basketball ;-) Douglas and Hall are impressive freshman. Need to add muscle down low in the off season and a quick ballhandler would help the offensive movement. Going into the season I was hoping for at least ten wins. Anyone else want to speculation on the final record this season? Wicks could not have gotten the turnaround without the roster rebuild. It gave former players and the newbies a fresh start.

I look forward to watching Douglas Jr play out his career in Green Bay. What a find by coach Wicks.

The team is far exceeding my expectations. Like you I was hoping for 10 to maybe 12 wins. Didn't really know how quickly the team would gel with all the new pieces but the staff has done a great job. At the end of non conference play I thought 8 conference wins. If we can control our turnovers, stay healthy and continue to shoot the way we have from 3, I could see 12 to 14 conference wins the way they are playing. Maybe a 16 to 18 win season? It feels possible all of a sudden

Winning any conference road game by double digits is cool.

Don’t look now, but the Phoenix are on top of the Horizon League standings. Of course, there’s a long way to go, but yes, Sundance and team have turned this program around much quicker than I expected. We know there will still be bumps along the way….

Eames and Wonders were big factors against UDM. In this game it was Jones and Douglas in support of Noah. That is the part that fans of other teams and some mid major media keep missing about this GB team. They have eight guys that fill the role of being the #2 guy.
The other thing I appreciate so much is Reynolds makes everyone around him better. He genuinely seems happy for the success of others even if it over shadows his success in that game.
Having a #1 guy that is so comfortable building up eight different #2 guys is their secret sauce. I love watching this team play.

Yeah, it's crazy. 7 Horizon League teams with 2 league losses, and Green Bay is one of only 2 that have 5 wins. IPFW has lost 2 straight, including a home game. This sets up a huge game in Green Bay Sunday.
