A win today would establish GB as a top team in the Horizon League. Odds are currently GB +7.5 so Vegas still doesn’t believe in GB just yet. I see this being a close game and with the way this season has gone, a GB win wouldn’t surprise me. Winning in Rochester hasn’t been easy though, last win there came in 2018.

Serious measuring stick game. I've always thought game 2 of these 2 game road trips was tougher.

Very good first half, put themselves in a position to win it with a great second half. And I feel like this gets said every game but we gotta cut down on the turnovers if they want pull off the upset.

No points in last 2 minutes, that hurt considering Nix was up by 1 at the start of that drought. I didnt see the game but to me a rebound w 3 seconds left and they get a dunk at end of game. Bush league, dribble it nicely, run out the few seconds and then shake hands.

This one just hurts because first place was on the line with a win. But man the guys fought hard. All this game showed me is that on a neutral floor, this team can beat anyone in the league. A split is what I expected on this trip and that’s what we got, so all in all I’m not too upset. Gotta bounce back against IUPUI now.
Also, hearing the announcers complain about Oakland fouls was laughable. GB fouls 24, Oakland fouls 11.

The announcers were pretty bush league on the ESPN Plus feed. Oakland has a nice team and the Nix had trouble matching up against Townsend. No offense to the GB front court players but the match-up against size and any degree of big man with athleticism is a killer.
How about David Douglas Junior's 5, three pointers and Ruedinger going three for five from deep?
At this point in the Nix rebuild I'm simply happy to see a team being competitive in the league. If Wicks can keep the squad together and add a big -- watch out. Even though Santa is probably resting we need to ask him for another quick combo guard for next season.

It was an entertaining game with lots of players contributing. Townsend may have gotten a little star treatment, he played 39 minutes in a very physical game and only committed 1 foul.

I suppose it says a lot about the faith I have in this team at this point that I'm extremely disappointed that they didn't win.
They did a good job of controlling the pace of the game. They did a good job of finding open shooters and making outside shots. They did a good job of making OU pay for making Noah such a priority for the OU defense. GB ended up with a really balanced scoring game.
I do believe that GB will have better fortune guarding Townsend in the rematch. Lampman made some tough shots, let's see if he can do it twice as well.
