Nothing would suck more than to follow up a great win by losing to an inferior team at home. Have to win games like this if GB wants to be near the top of the league.

Last year on January 21st a humiliating loss at home to RMU by a score of 72 - 38 was the final nail in the Will Ryan coffin. For now, that's my immediate thought when I think of Robert Morris. Looking forward to yet another of the many steps we've already taken to put that memory further into the rear view mirror. I have not done any scouting on RMU but their record is 4-10, they played to within 10 at Madison in mid-November and just lost by 3 on Friday at Milwaukee. Their size looks to be with a couple of 6'7" guys who get a fair mount of minutes.

As impressive as the Wright St game was, this game was just as good in my eyes. Avoiding the let down after a big win and taking care of a team you should beat showed me a lot about this team. Took a bit to get going in this one but once they found their groove they took over. In conference play, my hope for this team is to finish undefeated at home and play .500 on the road. Obviously it’s early, but they’re currently 3-0 at home so they’re staying on track to accomplish it.

Awesome 2nd half for the Phoenix, a continuing trend. Reynolds dominates again, with 27 points on 17 shots. Douglas was quiet after winning Horizon Freshman of the week, but Wonders, Jones, Cummings, and Hall all got going offensively. The defense held a scrappy RMU team to 41% shooting.
Green Bay is now 8-7. That's a winning record!

With Preston Ruedinger out Ryan Wade provided some valuable minutes freeing up Reynolds to do what he does best. Overall this was a nice team win with some impressive defense and passing on the offensive end.

Coach Wicks said it best, this GB team just grinds opponents down over the course of the game.
They forced multiple shot clock violations and late clock shots. For awhile it felt like only offensive rebounding kept RMU in the game.

7 Nix turnovers was an impressively low number. They took care of the ball and forced turnovers on the other end of the court. This from a team playing in their first season with each other.

Last year's team would play tough for the first half and then get blown away in the second half. This year's team knows how to finish.
THIS IS NOT LAST YEAR'S TEAM
