A rare noon tipoff at the Resch. Wright State started the season 0-3, but have now won 5 of their last 7 including beating IUPUI by 29 in Dayton.
I'll be watching this one at work - hopefully the stream is decent here.
Conference play only from here on out - let's start it off right!

Guess I created a thread for this game at the same time, so ignore the one I made. And here’s my post from that thread.
Wright St has looked pretty good this season, so GB definitely has to bring their A game if they want to get the win. One thing that leads me to think GB will get the win today though is that WSU has only played 1 true road game since November 16th. If there was ever a time to steal a game from a team that probably has more talent, today is the day. Hope there’s a good lively crowd for this matinee game as well.

And this team is a work in progress. Stay healthy and who knows what it can achieve by the end of the year.

Fantastic game all around! The Phoenix hit their 3s and FTs, rebounded well, limited turnovers, and of course, the monster game from Reynolds! His 39 points lands him tied for #6 all-time (with Carrington Love) in single game scoring. Ray Willis #1 with 45 in 1971.

And if I read correctly Reynolds has the highest scoring regulation game in D1 this year. This is not last years team. Very impressive.

I totally forgot about the Noon start time. Got home from work looking forward to watching the stream tonight, and realized I suck and I missed a great game.
Huge win. Noah Reynolds is a star. This is a good team.

This is a good team. I had planned on traveling from Eau Claire to watch this game plus the women's game tomorrow but my wife got sick. Thank goodness for the ESPN+ replay capability. As others have said THIS IS NOT LAST YEAR'S TEAM

That was fun, the crowd wasn't big but they were in it when it mattered. I can't help but feel they are building something real.
As for the game it was a welcome sight to see them double Noel and Braun in the post. Yeah it led to some confusion for GB at times but after watching the Noel show last year and nothing being attempted to stop it this just set a tone for the game that felt different.
Noel was visibly defeated way before the final buzzer went off.
Noah throwing polite shade at Calvin about hiding on defense. Noah started to cook once the Grafton guy got in foul trouble. Watching mid major teams get a big switched on to Noah is one of the most enjoyable parts of every game. Noah makes them pay almost every time.
Now for the obvious. There can not be a 2 game let down after this one. No splits at home. They have to back this win up against RMU or it doesn't mean squat.

There was a 41 point game in triple overtime, and a 40 point game in OT.
