I tried to look on their website to find info about their team and so far the roster and schedule are not updated.
Other than it being a NAIA school from the Chicago suburbs I know nothing about them.
As for what we know about GB so far, nothing is a given when it comes to winning. A strong effort, gain experience, stay healthy and move on to Valpo 1-1 would be an ideal result in this game.

Im choosing to come into this game with a lot of confidence that Sunny has the squad ready for a beatdown. In no world should a mediocre NAIA team be in a competitive game with us, and compared to the team they just played GB should certainly have athletic advantage. I thought we had a pretty good intensity to our defense on Monday, and if we see that again, St Francis should really struggle to score the ball. The offense in the second half of Mondays game was a bit better than what they showed in the first half, so I’m chalking up the bad start to first game jitters in a tough environment. I’m not even thinking about the possibility that this could be a close game and expect them to win by at least 15. Hope the players/coaches come into the game with the same attitude.

Can we please flip the script and beat somebody comfortably for once instead of always being on the wrong end of it.

Looking forward to seeing Marcus Hall this game. He was very close to a double double against Iowa State. A sneaky 7 points and 7 rebounds.
Like GBPhoenix1 said, play with confidence, play the right way and stay healthy then head to Valpo.
Last thing; How about Foster Wonders in the first two games? Lethal from deep. Hadn’t had a shooter like him since……

Well Robert Morris is currently losing to an NAIA school at halftime, so things could be worse. Seriously though, can we make a free throw?

Well the current Nix team looks better than last years team. However that talent as of halftime isn't doing much better than the NAIA team they are playing. That is a problem. I know it is early in the season, but if the Nix can't win a game when they have better players, we can only hope they gel as a team and get better.

The Nix are missing three starters including the guy they expected to be the starting point guard.

This was GB’s first convincing win since the 2021-2022 season, and I don’t even care who the opponent was, it feels pretty good. And shout out to Coach Wicks for getting his first victory. Hope there are many more to come.

Like the scrimmage, there were things to be encouraged by, and things to shake your head at. Reynolds penetration is a plus...his shooting, not so much. 23 and 10 is a nice line though. Jones with 19 and 8 is encouraging too. (Not the 22 the official scorer had him with...they gave Douglas three on the Reynolds kick out to Jones). The next couple of weeks will be more telling. Iowa State is probably the best team they'll play, and St. Francis is the worst. With those out of the way, we'll start to get a better idea of how they match up in the bigger picture.

After 3 games two things are clear to me.
One, this isn't the best shooting team. They are generating plenty of open shots but knocking them down is a bit of an adventure. It will be interesting to see if Rich goes full Randy Tucker or if digs himself out of a cold start. His mechanics look like he should be fine. I wonder how much impact Will and Preston will have on the shooting.
Two, these guys definitely have some juice. They play really hard and they have great bench energy. That will likely multiply if they are having success.
I think we all expected them to be 1-1 at this point. So I'm happy they got there even if it wasn't the smoothest route.
On to Valpo, the first true test of where this team stacks against their peers.
