Uwgb is talking to Daniel Nixon from George Washington. According to portal report.Forward injured only played one game the first this season. But 6’7 225 lbs. Would bring size. Athleticism.

I'm curious if Phoenix fans think this is "good enough" for the last scholarship. Do you guys think they can do better? FWIW I don't think it would be a bad pickup by any means. Just curious what you guys are thinking.

1. Fills a need
2. Brings experience
3. 2 years left of eligibility it seems?
Yeah seems like a good fit. Not sure how serious our interest is though.

Is Noah and nic Reynolds brother Nelson worth a scholarship? He’s not a star like his brother but maybe he could grow into a decent player?

Or do you not know who they are? The names change constantly. A couple of D2 grad transfer combo forward have committed else where. I'm guessing GB will be very picky with this last spot.

An available scholarship is a valuable commodity late in the recruiting season. Wicks and Company have done a masterful job rebuilding the roster and are in a position to be picky with the final building block.
A student/athlete may become available late in the process and a high percentage of schools will not have a scholarship available. You see this story playing out every summer.
The other issue I've heard from coaches is -- the biggest recruiting mistakes generally happen at the end of the recruiting season when they rush the process and get someone who may be a good player but bad for the locker room chemistry.
I thought I'd re-post this from Twitter.

THE EVALUATION PROCESS IS EXTREMELY SUBJECTIVE BASED ON EACH PROGRAM AND WHAT IT VALUES … Its why I love the game and teaching/coaching … so many ways to do it … ART 🖼️ vs. SCIENCE 🧬
