Has there been any more movent on the possible addition of Talmadage?? I don't think they can announce anything until he is enrolled in school at this point. So we likely won't know anything until fall. Not sure what the rules are with the offseason trip they have coming up.

JuCo guru Brad Winton is reporting Green Bay has added JuCo guard Lamin Fulton. Fulton started at SG as a true freshman for D1 St. Peters of the MAAC and averaged 9 ppg. He then decided to transfer but didn't find a school he liked so he went the JuCo route. He's a short, stoutly built combo guard.

What happened to Fulton going to Albany? Everything I google shows he committed there.
I assume this either closes the door on Talmadge or that Talmadge is a walk on.
Is this an indication that Vince Garrett won't get to play this year?
This has to be an indication that Coach Wardle is concerned about perimeter shooting.
As for Fulton I have never seen him play but based on stats and box scores alone I would describe his game as a streak shooting bomber. At St. Peters he took 63.3% of his shots from 3 point range and made 34.5%. At the JUCO level he took 61.9% of his shots from 3 point range and made 32.3%. He takes a fair number of shots but didn't seem to have a lot of rebounds, assists or steals. He had several games of good shooting and would follow that with several games of no 3's made. So without further knowledge I would like to see his role be that of a player GB puts in on occassion to stretch the floor but with the other weapons on this team I can't see a high volume guy being a starter on this team.

Very interesting according to U.Albany's website he's signed a NLI? I found almost nothing on Rivals.
ALBANY, N.Y - University at Albany men's basketball head coach Will Brown has announced three early signings for the 2013 Great Danes. UAlbany is currently 2-1 in the 2012-13 regular season and prepares for University of Missouri-Kansas City in the first round of the Springfield bracket of the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off tournament.
"I am excited about adding Lamin (Fulton), Levan (Shengelia), and Dallas (Ennema) to our program", said Coach Brown on the three NLI signees. "Each has excelled on the court and in the classroom. They will fit in well at Albany and represent our program in a positive manner. All three have the ability to make an immediate impact. The early signing period was a huge success for us. We will continue to recruit and will complete our 2013 Class in the spring."
Lamin Fulton- Ht: 5'10 Wt: 185 Hometown: Philadelphia, PA Previous School: Northwest Florida State JC -
Northwest Florida State lost in the 2012 NJCAA National Title Game and is currently ranked #2 in the nation. As a freshman, he led St. Peter's of the MAAC in minutes played at 29.6. He averaged 8.9 points per game and led St. Peter's in three's made with 59. Lamin was the 2011 Philadelphia Catholic League Player of the Year. He led Neuman Goretti to two State Titles, three Catholic League Titles, and three City Titles. He was 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-City, and 1st Team All Catholic League two years in a row.
Coach Brown on Fulton: "Lamin is a tough city combo guard who has the ability to score the basketball and also makes plays for his teammates. He played off the ball at St. Peter's and was a point guard in High School. Lamin is used to winning as he won at a high level in High School and will compete for a National Championship this season at Northwest Florida State. Lamin has been well coached as he played for legendary coach Carl Arrigale at Gorretti and currently plays for arguably the best Junior College coach in America in Steve Forbes. He will bring tremendous toughness, ability, experience, and a winning mentality to our program!"

A little insight on the early recruiting of Fulton when he was a high school prospect. This was from the official St. Pete press release. "Saint Peter's received an early verbal commitment from 5’9” Philadelphia guard Lamin Fulton from the highly acclaimed Neumann-Goretti program. The undersized player is a highly skilled true point guard that can also shoot. He appears to be a good get for the Peacocks as more acclaimed programs passed on him because of his lack of size."

I would guess he is a walk on based on Fulton committing.

Perhaps a three for four deal involving Talmadage -- similar offer to what Cody Wichmann out of Pulaski had?

New team members -- Vince Garrett, Tevin Findlay, Turner Botz, Kenneth Lowe, and Lamin Fulton -- I'd say that is an upgrade in athleticism and talent from the past season and the 12-13 team had some talent.
