Maybe this the real issue... “Pride of Green Bay” and a 2 year walk on.... SMH...

GB Engineering program might be an attraction for Bohannon.

Suemnick is a very physical player from what I can tell and he plays hard. He has worked very hard to get to the D1 level given where he was on the recruiting radar just a few years ago. I appreciate that he didn't give up to make his D1 dreams a reality. For sure he could set hard screens, get easy finishes off of rolling or cutting to the post and he's a good offensive rebounder who will get some easy hoops that way. The form on his jumper looks good, though he didn't take any long range shots at RMU to validate if he could be a threat out there.
From what I have heard in the past the academic side is important to him as well which is awesome.
He is a local player so that is nice bonus and he likely knows other really good local players too which can't hurt things moving forward.
Overall I would welcome him to GB with open arms.

This would be a good fit both ways. A need for the Nix and athletically/academically for this recruit.

It’s concerning where our roster is at, to say the least. My biggest fear is that after all of these local guys have committed elsewhere, guys they’ve been putting all their effort into, that it’ll be too late to get other quality recruits from elsewhere. Something something about building a fence around the state, well.....make sure to not wall yourself in, coach.

Patrick was a good 3 point shooter in HS, and having watched him in warm-ups, its legit. I'm shocked Robert Morris didn't let him utilize that part of his game, could be a big reason for his departure from there.

With the immediate eligibility for transfers, this is an unusual recruiting cycle. Most coaches have put a priority on those transfers over the traditional prep players and JUCO athletes. As the clock runs down there will be some gems available -- prep, JUCO, and transfer. Some players who wait to commit may be left out in the cold. It will be a coaches buyers market.

Venci wrote in the paper that Schaefer, Claflin and Jenkins are all walk ons at this time. That leaves 2 scholarships to give.
