Colin Schafers picture was put back on the uwgb website roster and the fact that it’s still on there is probably still meaning something that he couldn’t find a different place and stayed as a walk on scholarship wish and hope that will be known.

Has Marlon Ruffin committed? Not yet. Any news on Parker Fox or Ognacevic.

To me the scholarship number is complicated either they have 2 or 3 depending on if Colin Schafer really never left and got a scholarship or is still just a scholarship but banking one or two scholarships I hope they only bank one if Colin did get a scholarship.

With Jacob off the table I think they need to fill out the roster with a Junior or Senior big man. I know they don't grow on trees but the roster is going to be very young. I expect they may have been waiting on his decision and I expect they have other options.

He committed to Lipcomb, a small private church-based school, in Nashville. He would have been perfect for Ryan's offensive sets. Not to be. Next man up.

Well shoot, I thought we had a good shot at Jacob as well. At least he's not going to somewhere in the Horizon League.
I agree, with fansincebuss. I am sure this was a domino in which needed to fall for GB to move on.
If you would of asked me on 29APR21 how many players we would have committed thus far, I would of said at least 3. But we are at 1. Mitch Listau is a good get but this team needs more.
Am I concerned? Starting to be.

2 would be more fair low chance of getting Marlon Ruffin now like 10%? Just because of how much time has passed since he first went in transfer portal.

Ruffin would be good especially because of his experience, but they probably need a big man more. Any chance Thompson reconsiders? He was a big loss with potential for a nice career.

At this point yes the grass isn’t always greener he should give it a second chance but there are people who probably know him and why they transferred this year when you have guys coming in you played aau ball with that would make it better. And if Colin Schafer who he likes but 90% he’s probably staying gone unless some with insider knowledge knows to share I would like for him to stay.

I know he will be a freshman there’s a top five but he’s a three star they still have a chance to get him until he commits over teams like iupui and Milwaukee and drake and Rhode Island are the other two after losing Amari they have even a better good young core especially if Thompson came back as well.

I would be fine with getting wings 6’6 Terrence Lewis from Milwaukee was at Iowa state and Marlon Ruffin who is 6’6 and 6’6 quinton bolton a freshman from Milwaukee. Kyle Ross is 6’7 big man or if they got 6’8 Terrance Thompson 6’8 with hopefully Colin Schafer coming back as a walk on and not a scholarship player if he is not leaving.
