Maybe it’s a mistake maybe someone else has noticed but Collin Schafer is still on uwgbs website roster that would be great if he’s coming back?

Maybe it’s a mistake maybe someone else has noticed but Collin Schafer is still on uwgbs website roster that would be great if he’s coming back? Maybe they offered him a scholarship because he wasn't on there a week ago... Not sure they would put him back by mistake but we shall find out soon.

That’s a good theory but there website does not match to who has actually transferred I really like that maybe he is a scholarship player and now they only have two scholarships now Scott Venci hasnt seemed reported that by tweeting that by my knowledge maybe someone else knows differently and the athletic department knows differently that he is now a scholarship player like the jio miles situation last summer?

I don't know about all of you but I am ready for another commit to carry me through for a few days. The silence is killing me!
Jefferson going to MTSU seems like a good fit for his game. He should still put up good stats and be set up for a pro career somewhere.

I think it's a question of dominos falling into place. As of this morning there were more than 1,300 in the transfer portal.

Davis to Mizzou Pipes to Santa Clara Jefferson to MTSU P Taylor to Chaminade D2 Jones to Thomas More NAIA Miles to Schoolcraft JUCO Schaefer possible return to GB Thompson unknown, offered by YSU, WIU and Southern D Taylor unknown
I made a point at the start of the thread to indicate several guys may not play at the D1 level again. In consistency with that comment I am hoping GB still has 3 or 4 scholarships to give out to D1 guys.
The margin of difference is probably small but every little bit counts. From where I sit adding only 2 more guys probably isn't enough to get the program where it should be.

If those are Thompson's offers he would be better served returning to GB. Mid-majors are getting raided like never before. A lot of players are learning the options they thought they had may not be there or may not be as attractive as they thought. The "Greener Grass Syndrome." My wish for all student-athletes, find a school, a coach, and a system that you are comfortable in. On a totally separate note, I found this piece on a new member of the Marquette coaching staff, Nevada Smith. It got me thinking of what Linc Darner was trying to do at Green Bay. Smith seems like he's trying to do for basketball what "Money Ball" did for baseball. What role does analytics play in sports and how are the various sports evolving? grantland.com/features/nba-dleague-rgv-vipers-houston-rockets-future-of-basketball/

They run this and I know a high school in Illinios that did it with 5 in 5 out subs every 4 minutes to keep ids fresh. Crazy and Grinnell still couldn’t beat Oshkosh with it mainly because the kids didn’t shoot it good enough but they got the number of positions though. Interesting... Hell pretty much what Steph does with Golden State. Wait until Klay back.
